Just got the Joye Ego, have a simple question!

Sorry about this, I know this question is really noobish but I don't want to mess up the atomizer.

Anyways, it's charging right now but in the little piece of paper I got with it it says:

Tip, put a couple drops of liquid on the atomizer before the first use.

I'm assuming this is to "break" it in or keep it from having that burning taste I've read about. I just don't know if I should drop water on the atomizer or use some of the e-liquid I got to drop on it. I'm thinking it probably doesn't matter but I don't know. I've been looking forward to getting this for a while and I just don't want to break it.

just drip a couple drops of whatever e liquid your using on the bridge of the atomizer and vape it off.. dont inhale just take a few puffs. Its to get the primer off... has a chemical taste to it gross! Hope that helped

Ok ... here's how you do a brand new atomizer ... first you want to blow out the packing liquid from it, that stuff tastes nasty. To blow it out, get a papertowel or some tissue to hold over the threaded end of the atomizer, then blow hard through the other end of it. This will blow the packing liquid out of the atomizer, repeat until nothing else comes out. Then before putting your e-liquid filled cartridge on, drip 3-5 drops directly into the atomizer so that the wicking can soak it up. Wait a minute or so, then put on your cartridge and start vaping.

I had to learn this one the hard way, I just started dripping on the Atty right when I got it, and the taste was horrible for about the 1st 6 puffs then the true taste started kicking in.

hopefully you are useing it by now, no need to charge before
first use as they come at least partially charged and have no memory
just blow out the packing fluid, drip a few on the atty and enjoy
live long and vape happy
