I stumbled across this today while doing some browsing on the internet. And when i was reading through it. I got to a point where I just kinda stopped...look at it and sat back in my chair. And said...well this aint gonna fly. It honestly sounds like one of the most pathetic attempts to justify making something look bad, that iv ever seen in my entire life. Elf bar is stopping some of its most popular flavours following fierce criticism...

    The only thing in that entire article that was remotely positive is at the very end, the second to last sentence begins:

    Prof Sir Chris Whitty, England’s chief medical officer, has said previously: “If you smoke, vaping is much safer;

    99% of people reading news articles never finish them, having already 'learned' everything they think they need to know by the time they finish the first paragraph. Or at least that's what I was taught many moons ago back in the pre-internet days. Back then the newspaper industry based the way they wrote the news on this principle. So the standard rule was put what you wanted people to know in the first paragraph, then use the rest of the story to fill in details that only about 1% of the people would bother to read.

    In other words, putting that quote at the very end was an intentional decision designed to make sure that most people reading the story would never see it.

    Sadly, some people see only the headline and spin that in their head to mean however they want..

    A Related Story from that page "is your vape poisonous". I thought to myself "I've been poisoning myself for the past 9 years? Man, why didn't I keep smoking? I hope the 30+ years that I did was enough to protect me.".. I laughed and laughed. Then I realized that I might be one of the people I described in my previous post.

    I laughed some more..

    I mean, maybe like 11+ years ago when we were using like the top coin vivi nova plastic clearomizer type tank things. With the silica wick. Them dry hits on those, garauntee threw tons of silica particles in our lungs. Still so few...it would take literal lifetimes to make any big difference from the testing documentation I have seen.
    I also stumbled across this gem of misinformation from a cancer doctor. I keep telling my friends and family, its time to quit...nows the time. Its so good and easy now look. You dont even have to fill anything. Just buy it and use it.
    Lets hope they start listening. I have a banana cake elfbar and tyson 2.0 heavyweight menthol, which are both bangin. Especially the banana cake gosh. Still too sweet but. Its strong enough to prove to a smoker that they can get off cigs by using it. Im thinking thats the point of it.
    But check out this articles total garbage statement. Quit Smoking: 7 Products to strike out nicotine

    The thing is, is that quitting cigarettes is immensely harder because of the literal thousands of other chemicals and poisons/toxins that are in them. Its not just quitting nicotine.

    I quit using ecigs multiple times now. For extended periods. Even months. But I enjoy it so. I do it. But cigarettes was like, if i dont get it, im going to have to eat constantly to not want it.
    I personally have taken em out of public ashtrays, and seen lots of people pick them up off the ground. Big difference in addiction level.

    That's pretty much the only reason I can co-exist with the presence of disposables. I'm a die hard DIY'er. Mods (mech or regulated); batteries that can be taken out and recharged; coil wrapping, mounting, and wicking; and definitely making my own eliq, with or without whatever flavor(s) I want. Disposables are arguably easier to use though. Most are air-drawn and don't even have a fire button.
