Thus is a subject that really grinds my gears. Debating with someone about e cigs and health is like arguing politics or religion with most people ignorant on the subject. No matter the logic you throw at them, they stand firm in their uninformed, uneducated, and tbh stupid opinion. I've given up on trying to convince the people I work with, some people you just can't get through to, and it's sad imho. vaping is really the only alternative to smoking other than cold turkey, and we all know how effective going cold turkey usually is.
We need better marketing lol. But let us be realistic here, we cannot really compete against tobacco interests who have an almost infinite amount of cash and the power that the cash brings. Atleast not yet, but it should get better as the vaping industry gets bigger and is able to compete money-wise with big tobacco. Remember, also, that as smoking is declining in first world countries, the overall rates remain the same as people in lesser developed countries are seeing rising rates of smoking.

Completely understandable, but I just find it hilarious when people throw out the most uninformed crap when I'm talking about vaping. Stuff like "that's as bad as smoking" or especially "there's just as many chemicals in that stuff as in cigarettes". I actually had a debate with my boss today that made a blood vessel in my brain pop.

I used to vape 36mg like 6 years ago and it was borderline satisfying in the morning. I would get a rush with an analog but not with a ego T.

Nowadays I vape 18mg. Both in my erlprinz (20W) and my mutation X at 60W. I actually wish I would get a head spin or something but I don't... Maybe I'm just too addicted to nicotine to notice any effect.

That really shows just how strong those analogues are in terms of nicotine. I would get the same rush you did with analogues in the morning, and to think that on average a cigarette has only around 1mg of nicotine.

Yeah... That tickle in my fingers and hands in the morning... One could feel 'something' shooting through your veins but, apparently it wasn't just nic.

Yes, it doesn't make any sense. She was talking about how she uses 18 mg because of this.

As others have already stated, her comment is total nonsense. Even if there was some merit to it, one would need to quantify an amount of 24mg eliquid that was just as bad as smoking (like X ml of 24mg eliquid is just as bad as Y cigarettes), not just the strength. Just for fun, what if you offered that if she were to vape four times as much 18mg eliquid as you vape 24mg eliquid that she would actually be worse off than you, according to her stipulation (since she would have consumed more total nicotine in that example).

One thing I was worried about when I started vaping was Nicotine Poisoning. Mainly because I was able to vape where I normally wouldn't smoke. I found a couple of links that basically said that one can not die from smoking alone. You would have to be handling the raw tobacco plant without any protection, and be younger. LINK --- SOURCE

    +1 +1 +1 +1 +1

When I started, I got thru about 1/2 a (12 mg) bottle of 36 mg/ml nicotine. I felt it was too much, and from then on I steadily went thru 21 mg/ml nic. bottles. Now I'm using 24 mg/ml liquid, but I've found that I'm vaping less.

unfortunately, a lot of people simply do not understand what the true dangers of cigarettes are...and why vaping is NOT the same.
That would, of course, be due to the propaganda.
It's fed to the sheep in nice bite-sized morsels on a daily basis.

Yeah I had a friend who grew tobacco, and he had to use gloves when handling the plants.

Bah, try cutting a pound of semi dry leaves in a hand powered 0.8mm tobacco cutter for two hours. You won't know what hit you lol.
