Me too, vaping made smokes awful, though I'd switched to lights 3 years back.
The ciga-likes didn't work for me when I tried them 2 years back.
It's tough to break the habit & addiction and I'm really surprised at myself.
I've recently quit smoking after 27 years, thanks to the new vaping gear. :)

Cooper45: You can do it!!! And if you still smoke for a few days or however long
you need to, you will still do it!!! For me, it was vaping that made my
smokes taste horrible. Each day, is a new day!!! :)

I was fortunately able to have my last cigarette about 1/2 hour before my first vape. There was one idiosyncrasy that lingered from smoking. I used an ashtray, which could have been in a variety of locations around my desk / hobby area. I kept trying to key in on the smoke wafting off of a burning cigarette even though what I needed to look for was my ecig. As best I recall, that faded after about 2 weeks.

Not too long after taking up vaping, I painted the two rooms that had incurred the most smoking. I'm pleased they remain fresh.
