Just jumped in with a KR808 from Halo, now I already want my first mod...

Hello all,

I recently started vaping with a basic KR808D-1 kit from halocigs.com. I am already looking into acquiring my first battery mod. Please halp!

I want something relatively slim, and the connector should be 501. I can get a converter to use up my 808 cartos if necessary.

So far I've checked out offerings from notcigs, lava tube, and ecigworkshop. I REALLY like the lava tube minis that I've seen, but I'd have to get in a group buy or co-op to get one. :/

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

it would certainly be cheaper to get in a co-op for a lava tube but electronicstix has them for a OK price CYLON VV MOD

Well, after some research I went with an ipro infinity from notcigs. The dent/scratch black one was only a little more than the mini lavatube. I'm so excited! I have some backwoods juice on the way as well!

Now you get to wait, lol, my least favorite part. I started stalking my mail mail, recreationaly of course, but was lucky enough to find a local vender with really good prices and juices. Good luck, I'm sure you'll love the infinity, I almost grabbed one from the scratch and dent lol.

I'd give serious consideration to a Variable Voltage mod. Those that use switching regulators, 2 batteries and convert the combined voltage down are better better performers in my estimation.

3 weeks after I started with a kr808, I got a box mod. Glad to hear you're moving up in the vaping world!!

Thanks for your help and comments, everyone! I'm pretty excited to load up some cassablanca in a fresh carto and fire up the infinity. Also, very glad I went with a vv mod; thanks for that comment!
