hey guys, so as you know... MY PROVARI CAME IN LAST NIGHTTTTT
but I've got no tanks or anything to use it with :(
So I just HAD to run to a friend's house this morning to throw one of his tanks on there and try this baby out. Let me tell you, the vape is PHENOMENAL...
Unfortunately, the button is sticking. and it's sticking every 2nd or 3rd time I go to take a drag. Looks like I'm gonna have to send this one back :/
What are the odds.
My luck just ain't great this week, huh?

That sucks but I have the same luck with most things. Sadly. If there is one dud on anything....it's pretty much a given that I'll get that one dud.

Sounds like you and I are both passengers in the same boat haha! I saw your other post about your cartos :S Real bummer. Well, eventually after having everything go wrong, I must ask... what else can go wrong? Haha

For the repair do I just go to the contact us page on the provape website?

I had the exact same experience just a few weeks ago. Looks like the 'sticky button' may be an issue after all :8-o

You would thinks so...but, no. Mine was returned, repaired a solid week later.

Wow :/ They wouldn't even cross ship?
That's incredibly disappointing. You go out of your way and spend $300 on a product that has a reputation for superb quality, get a defected device, and have to send it in for repair...
I really never would have expected this, especially not from a company such as Provape.

99.9% of ProVari failures (rare as they are) occur within one week of ownership. They have a reputation for superb customer service too, and you get to try it out immediately! That's awesome!...most of us never get that opportunity.

Seriously, it sucks, and you're the third or fourth person this month to get this problem. ProVape may have gotten a bad batch of buttons in or something. I'm sure they will get it sorted out and fixed. Do you think they really like paying for shipping it back to them and back out to you? It kills their slim profit margin.

I can only imagine your pain, and this issue really sucks. "back in the day" I purchased a new set up from a company. it was a KR808 that was my first step up from cigalikes. Right out of the box I had a button sticking issue. The response to my e mail to that company was basically saying to try cleaning it with rubbing alcohol, and telling I needed to be careful to not let juice leak onto the button and make it sticky, WHICH NEVER HAPPENED BY THE WAY.

There was NO OPTION for repair and the option for replacement, yeah buy another one. So basically... I could either deal with it, buy a second new one, or look elsewhere for another set up. I can completely understand the frustration of a brand new PV malfunction. and with the praise of ProVape I wouldn't expect it. Ill be mortified if the time comes that I have to send mine in for repairs. Ill also be happy that I even have that option.

Still though receiving a defective unit right off I would have been devastated and probably been banned from the ECF for being here calling all the Provarinati liars and what not.

Again, I'm curious if there is a common thread to the sticking. Like color, or only the mini etc. in any case, I asked about it, as mine has not shipped yet in hopes they spot check mine before shipping. I would be surprised if they are not already checking existing inventory though, as the time lost doing so would be minimal compared to what they would lose in only paying for 1 or 2 round trip shipping+ repair parts/labor. Not to mention the soiling of their name

Look on the bright side, at least you hadn't bought a cheap generic APV for which the response may well have been, 'better luck next time,' rather than a quick repair job.
