OK I'm new,, I'm like three weeks into vaping , Mech mod with clearomizers then got IPV3 with Aspire Atlantis, Had a Mephfesto addy before the IPV3.. made a few coils.. I am very safe wifie would kill me if I let this new vice literally blow up in my face...

with that said.. I took the two units to work today as usual,, the atlantis, again as usual runs empty like before I can even get to work ( shes a juice hog )

So I', off N on with the dripper on my IPV3 all day no biggie... low Wattage..12 - 14 I'm in my office door closed but still don't want to be cloud chasing at work and spoil the ability to vape at work....

I went to the restroom did a 12, did a 16 ...went back to my desk & let her sit like ten mins.

Set her to 18 and she popped a burst of sir at me when I tried to hit her
as if some coil broke scared the living *@@+*## outta me.
Loud pop too no joke ..

I inspect the deck no damage no coils broken not even really dry

If i were a weak small chick that burst of air ( explosion) coulda damaged a lung or something.... lol any ideas... that was NOT kewel !!

yes yes yes despite the incoherent rant above I've actually had that POP happen a few times more recently with the Dripper ( mephesto clone )
it's apparently the wicking

I have discovered and love Rayon ( celluocotton ) she apparently gets an air bubble or juice bubble now and then and decides to go pop ..

again its a bit freaky and could honestly hurt a slight chick or weak dude
but it was the combo of the loose connects on the attty that made it Wattage jump making it actually dangerous witch should be a rarity
in normal use.....those pops ( SANS the wattage Jump) are negligible and disconcerting .,. live and learn ..

******* However with the wattage jump (again rare) [lol] lung damage potential == HIGH no joke ) hahaha just saying
Vape safe yall

Every now and then I've had quite loud pops and a drop of e-liquid shot out of the Nautilus mini at high speed. Because of that, I'm careful not to point the tip towards my throat - I don't want to inhale the juice bullet when it happens. It also happens more when carrying the tank but not vaping for a while - my guess is that too much liquid accumulates in the head. Reducing this could be why the Nautilus has the steel mesh at the top. It doesn't solve the problem, though.

Yes, the loud popping is fairly normal; it happens when there is more juice in the wick than it can vaporize easily, like if the mod+tank has been sitting untouched for a while -- I get it particularly on first vape in the morning, when no vaping has been going on for 6-9 hrs. I've learned that when I pick up a mod that I haven't used in a while (15 mins or more), to press the fire button *before* bringing it to my lips, let it go on and pop it out, then it's safe to vape without getting hot-popped in the mouth/lip.

I also get the popping sometimes when I first re-wick or re-coil; the new wick and/or coil needs a chance to settle down, get into "the groove" so to speak. Sometimes, it never would settle down, so I'd go ahead and re-wick, and that would settle it. Rayon is worse for this problem than cotton, just because it wicks so extremely well; it's nearly a vacuum cleaner for ejuice, it draws up so much.
