I see a few forum posts here when they pop into my site stats as referrals. Just wanted to drop a response into the great discussion being debated by anjaffm and Roger_Lafayette.

It's something I wrote a while back about why it's perfectly acceptable to liken the most rancid ANTZ to that there German mob from the 1930/40s.

To hit five posts, just reply to people who answer here. You'll hit five in no time, and you don't have to start five threads--just make five posts in any thread in the Newbie section.

Then give the computer an hour or so to catch up and realize you aren't restricted any longer. After that, you're out in the wide world.

Hey D ick, we'll repost stuff for you if you want. people need to do a few posts in the New Member board in order to learn how the forum works (and how forums work in case they haven't used one much before). Someone who wants to can get out of NM in about 5 minutes

By the way this is not a US forum, that's simply where most of the members are, and that affects the 'flavor' of the place of course. This is a global forum, and there are boards for specific countries who want to use their own language. Originally this forum started in London, then we moved the hosting over when the US members overtook the UK members. At its peak about 90% of traffic came from the US. This is now falling, it's now below 75% and going down, as the ROTW picks up vaping.

It's unlikely we'll ever move hosting from out of the US (except for legal reasons, maybe because of some corrupt law about ecig advertising or whatever), but there will come a time when US traffic falls to about 50% of the total, as the ROTW is a lot bigger than the US. Football (soccer) and cricket forums are larger than for any US sport for example. If places like India ever get an ecig user population then the rest of us will just about disappear as a percentage. ECF will probably always have a US flavor though because that works out better than any other way.
