Does anyone here have just a couple of devices? It seems like most on here are collectors, which I can appreciate, but I'm not there, either budget wise or in desire (yet!).

I've trashed my first vape pen that I bought, and I do still have the second one as a just in case, but I really only use my subox.

I started thinking about it because people were talking about changing flavors multiple times per day, while I tend to vape the tank and then switch out a flavor if I feel the need. I do keep a stronger flavor in the vape pen and will occasionally switch it up with that for a bit, but otherwise, I'm a one mod lady.

How many devices do you use regularly?

I have few devices and few flavors. Most of the flavors I use are similar (variants on RY4/vanilla/caramel) and I tend to mix and refill tankfuls rather liberally. Right now I'm using my Kayfun 4 (which I managed to build to a useable state) but before that it was just my Protank 2, with EVOD as a backup.

Well, when it comes to batteries/mods, I just got a Sigelei ZMax. Also two Vision Spinners, two eGo 1100 mAh and a few assorted smaller eGos. There's a Sigelei mini, but the threads are stripped out and the only thing that will stay on it is a Plume Veil, and I don't feel much like using that now.

I have 4 MVP 3.0 Pro boxes. 1 Smok xpro m80 plus, two innokin disrupters with three battery packs, an IVP 4, an istick 100 watt, 2 evic minis, 2 subox mini kits, pretty much every smok tank, 2 crown tanks, the TFV4, 6 ego one megas, multiple subtanks, nanos and minis. The Triton, atlantis, atlantis two, atlantis Mega, multiple innoking ISUB and ISUB G tanks, the ehpro morph tank, the DOGE dripper, mad hatter, velocity clone, the old MVP2... just one purchase I made on the trade forum a few days ago got me 5 tanks and 81 coils for 60$... Fortunatley I don't pay retail for any of my stuff, im handing a bunch out for Christmas, and I sell gear offshore... im pretty much the only vape shop for 100 miles... lol

You need two at the very least, so one charges while you use the other.

And then of course, you've already discovered how easy these things are to break... or malfunction in some way -- do you really want to give yourself any excuse to even think of buying cigarettes, nevermind smoking them? I don't. I told my husband early on, I'm going to have LOTS of vape gear, so I never have any excuse to even consider smoking -- to make vaping ALWAYS easier than going to get cigarettes. He's delighted with that state of affairs, no matter how much vape gear I acquire -- ANYTHING is better than smoking.

As for multiple tanks/attys... that's really up to however many flavors you want to use. And some flavors are VERY difficult to remove from an atty, once it's been in there.

I have multiple batteries for the Kbox, so no charging worries at least.

I haven't any malfunctions that prevented vaping so far, but you are right, which is why I keep the EMOW charged and ready to go.

I haven't had any trouble with lingering flavors so far, I primarily look for dessert flavors and creamy fruit flavors. I'm trying to stay away from the custards because of the concerns and am not a fan of the tobacco flavors.

I do feel like I could possibly benefit from another tank to have two flavors on hand, but don't know that I *need* it.

I used to be a 2 device person, I had two of the same device at my side at all times. I also had 4 of the same tank constantly filled so I dont have too much "down" time.

Age caught up with me and my fav tanks got real hard for me to maintain, bad hands and eyesight.

It was hard to replace those tanks as they were so basic, and tasted good and gave me all the features I liked.

Thats when the "bug" hit me...

Now I have 7 mods at my side and 2 tanks for each. I can see how the obsession cant drive one to collect, theres the aesthetics and the search for the right tank/ RDA and one ends up with too much.

Ive been thinning the heard as I dont like to hoard and keep nice things unused in boxes. Its hard not to let it take over and make excuses to buy more.

I say that once you find your style , its good to have 3 MODs, a back up and one just in case.

Need... maybe not, except to make sure you always have something functional to vape with. But, I was spending $176/mo for cigarettes; I estimate that I'm spending maybe half that much for vape stuff, including all the DIY stuff to make ejuice... so I'm still coming out way ahead.

Best thing I have found about the whole thing is that with smoking, I had no choice but to spend $88 every payday (twice a month), no matter how broke we were, no matter what other bills or expenditures came up, that $88 had to come right off the top; now, on some paydays I may not spend anything at all -- yesterday's pay being a perfect example. But then when there's a good payday, and the other bills aren't too pressing, I might spend a lot, just because I can, and there's something I want -- still spending only about half what I spent on cigarettes.

When I smoked, I never could buy things I wanted; I'd see things online I'd just love to order, but couldn't... now, in many cases, I can. I just farking love that!!!! :D :D :D

7 mods and dozen tanks

But one flavor modified to suit mod/tank.

6mg nic for most everything. Light flavoring.

3mg nic for dripping and some tanks. Light flavor.

2mg for Aromamizer. Light flavor.

12mg for Provari. Double/triple flavoring.

All give the same nic effect. The flavor is the same but on the 12mg the taste is off cause of the nic.

I'm a great believer in back ups. And back ups for the back ups. And back ups for the back up back ups. But I only use one device on a given day...and use it all day. I decide what "mood" I'm in, and that's the way I go until I'm in bed reading at night...then I often switch to a "stick" type PV such as the iTaste VV V3. It's smaller and lighter and I can leave it plugged in the USB port in my Dash and not worry about the battery going belly up right in the middle of an exciting point in my book. The daytime mods I use now are mostly iSticks in various incarnations (20W, 30W or 40W). I also just got a MVP 20W because it was at a price I couldn't refuse, and I liked how solid it feels plus it can double as a charging port. I have a few tanks, but really only use the GS Air M. I have two of the M tanks. I only vape one flavor, and always have for the past 4 years.

These days I use 2 devices regularly.
mobile: I use a nemesis mech with a kick, and a 3d rtda.
at my beside I keep a subtank plus on a vamo control head powered off an ac/dc adapter so I don't have to worry about changing batteries, weak batteries or adding liquid while I'm watching tv.

plus I've got about 5 other rda's I could use and 5 other mech mods (and a vamo which probably needs fixing) and about 5 kick modules.
