... Not to mention - I don't always feel like maintaining my gear at the exact time maintenance is required. ...

This is a Good Point.

I can Coil, Mount and Wick an rba/RTA in less than 10 Minutes.

But if I am 10 Minutes from Walking out the Door on a Busy day, the last thing I want to do is Rebuild a tank.

Better to grab a Spare tank off my Desk that I can just Top Off and hit the Street Running.

This is why I keep strawberry & cream in both of my Achilles... so I can still be vaping on one while dry-burning and re-wicking the other, usually late at night, so it will be spanking clean and filled and ready to vape the next morning. :D Such a lovely way to start the day, instead of a vape that tastes like burnt crap. :D

Use 3 devices with different form factor. Each has it's purpose. A tube (dani extreem) when driving/on my bike. A small mod (xvostick)for going out and a larger mod(sx mini m) for at home.
Also 2 cheap devices (Istick and Sig 75) for traveling abroad.
Not planning on getting more unless one breaks, it's a nice allround collection.

For tanks I have 2 ST mini and 2 Kabuki's. Got 3 RTA's comming in to get started on that, and to be prepared for when the TPD legislation hits. Maybe I'll get a few more larger ones before they are harder to get because of this legislation, but I'll wait and see before doing that.

Does anyone here have just a couple of devices? It seems like most on here are collectors, which I can appreciate, but I'm not there, either budget wise or in desire (yet!).

I've trashed my first vape pen that I bought, and I do still have the second one as a just in case, but I really only use my Subox.

I started thinking about it because people were talking about changing flavors multiple times per day, while I tend to vape the tank and then switch out a flavor if I feel the need. I do keep a stronger flavor in the vape pen and will occasionally switch it up with that for a bit, but otherwise, I'm a one mod lady.

How many devices do you use regularly?

I use 3, a subox, a SMPL, and a mini ego while at work :) I have exactly one more mod, sitting in my closet, and because of that I will not be buying any more :p

Edit: I got into vaping partly to save money. Many people here have said "as long as I don't smoke, it's worth it!" Not so for me; I don't want to smoke OR keep sinking money into gear I don't need. The hobby part of it for me is doing coils and mixing liquids, and those are cheap to replenish.

I have two kicked Nemeses, one unkicked telescopic mech. Planning on retiring the telescopic in favor of another nemmy. I have six Orchids. I wore out threads constantly switching flavors, and I find that having three flavors available at any given time is just right. I also have two spare bases, sitting ready if any one of the six goes south. I like consistency with maintenance, and this setup insures that I know my devices backwards and forwards.

I also have two juices rotating for each Orchid, which provides even more variety.

I am still a juice-flitter, but not a hardware flitter. I could make do with two setups, but the third is insurance in case anything fails. Plus parts are interchangeable.

Started with VF Pro set with a twist battery.

A week later I purchased a second battery (Kanger evod twist). Was swapping between them for a couple of weeks until I noticed I was using both of them every day. Picked up an iStick 30. Alternated between the three.

A month ago I was using the older twist and discovered the vapor was cool for the voltage and wouldn't get any hotter. Broke down and ordered a Disruptor, put the twists to the side to use as backups and have been alternating between the Disruptor and the iStick.

Hopefully, within the next few weeks, there will be a Cloupor Mini Plus in my mailbox. When it arrives I'll rotate between the three.

I have flavor ADHD (as well as the real version) so I also have 7 tanks. 3 Aerotank Megas, 2 Nauty Minis, a GS Air M, and a Pro L ll. The last tank was just pulled out of rotation when the GS Air arrived as the former is plastic and the latter glass and I'm now vaping a number of potential tank crackers.

I consider this a basic setup.

With B&M's getting to be local for me I don't have the panic of a 3-5 day turnaround from online shops if something breaks. So I just have the 2 Isticks and rarely touch the second one.

Toppers now, I have a favorite so I order 3-6mths at a time. Same for eliquid.
www.alternatecig.com has ONE HUNDRED ml's of juice for $9.95.......i just got 600 ml's-should last me a few months!

Lets see, I have 5 mods and 1 vision spinner and 5 tanks. I bounce around with all of them, usually take the Coolfire 4 mod and either a Nautilus mini or a Subtank to work. When I'm home I vape on all 5, a couple hits off this one, then that one...and then it seems like I'm in need to charge all the batteries around the same time...lol...I think I need more mods for back ups when some are down for charging. I had a Kanger KBox, but it died about a month ago :(
Mods:
MVP 3 PRO
Kanger Sub Mini (Storm Trouper)
Coolfire 4
2 Istick 50
Vision Spinner

Tanks:
White Kanger Mini
Kanger Mini
Nautilus
2 Nautilus Mini's
