Ordered a provari and a big daddy tank.

First time vaper too.

I had bought a smoketip, and I'm hooked to vaping, but the smoketip is a childs toy compared to the provari.

Did 3 weeks of straight research before settling on this.

I have another question, if i wanted to get something more "lightweight", what would fit the tank/carto system I got?

Nice one, you're gonna love that provari, mine has been going strong for a year now. Wonderful bit of kit.:toast:

Any word on when the blue display will be available?

From the Provape website (contact form):

Q: When will the blue display option be available again?
A: At the moment we are all sold out of the blue displays. We have more coming in and expect those to be available around the end of May. Keep an eye on the forums or our facebook page as we will announce news related to this when available. The blue displays are only available on new purchases. We cannot upgrade devices to blue because of the difficulty in replacing the small parts. The optional blue display upgrade will run $15 when available. At this time we are not doing pre-orders for the blue, but when they are available there will be a option on the ProVari page to upgrade to blue with your order.

Congrats and I really wouldnt sweat the blue if I were you.It would have been my first choice as well since Im generally not a fan of red displays in anything.I was lucky enough to win a Provari with the red led and its not as obnoxious or as bright as people claim.

Congrats on making a very wise choice. I've had mine now for about a month and love it! I would suggest that you have atleast 4 batteries to rotate. And a Pila charger. The other charger ProVape carries is not all that great. I got the cheaper one to start with and I'd put a battery on it. If, for some reason, I had to leave the house, I'd take the battery off and when I got back and put it back on the charger, it would show green, even when I had charged it for only about 2 minutes. I knew it wasen't charged, but that charger wasen't as good as the Pila. And yes, a back-up PV would be another wise decision. Ya just never know.

Had my Provari almost a week now and its barely been out of my hand, you'll love it.
From the pictures on the web site I thought it was probably stamped out of thin stainless steel.
But when I received it and felt the heft of it in my hand I was pleasantly surprised.
!!! This thing is built like a tank !!!

The mini Provari I just got is awesome. At first I did not like how heavy it felt, but honestly, after a couple weeks I do not even notice the weight of it. I did wrap a piece of thin soft suede around it and tied it on and added a thumb holder loop tho because i was so afraid I would drop it! LOL Works great. As for the led, I got the red as I didn't care what color I got, the red is very easy to read even in dim light so I am glad I got red :) I don't think you can go wrong with a Provari. I am having issues with the Tenergy charger tho, it is getting way too warm, so I have to send that one back. bnrk

I agree. The general population has not accepted these devices and you get some funny looks. I take my GLV-2 Mini with me in public. Its so small, no one really can see it or notice it - which is nice.

I have 2 GLV SM's and they are great for public use, you only see the drip tip and part of carto :) And sometimes I take my 808's too. I don't want to loose or drop my provari out and about. bnrk

I just received my Legacy, by Pure Smoker and like it a lot. I also just ordered The Kick to begin getting into vv. I don’t like 6v - its too strong and burns the juice to me. 3.7v is okay, but a little weak. I'm betting that 4.5-5v is really where its at. Does all here agree?

I'm HIGHLY considering buying the Provari Mini, over the Legecy Mini. I like the smaller PVs, and I love my GLV-Mini 2 because its such a small pocket-friendly device. Is the Provari menu easy to learn, and is there any concerns with these types of electronics every failing more than expected? I’ve always had mechanical Mods for that reason.
