The ego is 510 compatible. It depends on which kit you purchased, but the standard ego kists usually come with a couple of 510 attys (and a cone to cover them - for purely aesthetic purposes) and some cartridges. -

You can try a tank. For ~20 bucks, you can get a tank atty and a box of tanks. My ego-t works great, but it might be worth reading through the forums about the tank system before you decide.

There are also two types of mega attys and mega cartridges. - Same thing. For ~20 bucks, you can get a mega atty and a box of mega carts. There are mega cone attys and mega cylinder attys. - Also the same thing: I really like my megas (the gurgling doesn't bug me) but you should read what others on this forum have to say about them before deciding.

Best place to buy? Well, I guess that depends on what you think is best. I prefer fast shipping and quick replies to inquiries, so cignot has made it to the top of my preferred vendors list for my ego stuff. - You might prefer to find the absolute lowest price or maybe a big selection of accessories or attys made by several different companies etc etc etc. You should visit the forum suppliers section and read what others have to say about the different vendors who support this forum.

You might be over filling your carts for your 510. Or you might be over due to clean your atty. My 510 attys seldom gurgle but when they do it is almost always due to over filling the cart or when I'm dripping and not paying close attention to when I put a couple of drops in last.

Yes. You can use an LR atty. Any 510 atty of any resistance will fit your ego battery.

The ego-t is just a different type of atty and cartridge system. The ego-t atty has a needle that punctures a tank. The needle has the wick inside it to deliver juice from the tank to the heating coil. The tanks have no polly filler in them... just juice. It's supposed to be a cleaner, hassle-free vaping experience (ymmv on that - some people experience a lot of hassle - I have experienced almost none)

The ego and ego-t batteries are basically the same, look identical, and are threaded the same. The ego-t batteries have a feature that the regular ego batteries do not, but it in no way changes how the batteries work with the different types of attys. The ego-t batteries have a 5 click shut off feature so you can disable the battery completely (I'm supposing so you can transport it in pocket or purse without it going off accidentally.

It is not necessary to have an ego-t battery to use the ego-t system. A regular ego battery works just fine.

I aqppreciate the time you've taken to reply..

I'm obsessive on cleaning...so I know that's not an issue, I either have no vapor, or it gurgles & I have great vapor. Unless I tip it up, then I have vapor & no gurgle, LOL! The ones I have came with my joye 510 kit, I don't know what they are called, but they have the carts that then fit inside, not like a reg atty that my blu uses.

So I can upgrade my ego to a T pretty much if I want to test that out..cool. Do they make car chargers for those? Again, looking for deals on attys, I like to have back ups on hand. Drip tips? Not thinking I'd love cartos..didn't like the blu ones..but maybe that's not a good comparison? I know I don't want pre-filled, I rarely like the prefilled flavors.

They do make car chargers. You probably won't need it. The ego batteries last a long time. It's hard to quantify, but I consider myself to be a moderate to heavy vaper and the ego 650 mah batteries last me 8 or so hours. I also have some ego 1000 mah batteries and they go all day and sometimes part of the next day.

If you end up liking the tank system, I do suggest you have at least one or two spare attys on hand. I've read quite a few people to say they experienced wick problems (flooding and leaking) at a week to 10 days of use. I've experienced no such thing with mine (in fact, I'm firmly in the "best thing since sliced bread" camp on my opinion of the ego-t), but enough people have said that on this forum to make me think there's a pretty good chance it could happen to any tank atty at any time.
