I placed an order on Saturday afternoon for a Joye Ego-T 900 mAh from LF. I have a gazillion questions and I havent even gotten it yet. I am reading about all this leaking, type A and type B. Does anyone know what kind mine will come with? Should I expect it to leak? Can the tanks only be used once?

That will start me off, I will have more questions later, but I am so tired, I cant think of them right now.

I've used tanks until they've cracked, from holing in between teeth or biting down. I've also had two of the atomizers going for over three months, cycling per week of coarse. I don't have any leaking issues. When you first get it blow the atty(s) out like there's no tomorrow. The primer that's used tastes terrible, worse than other primers. When you first put a tank in there will be a piece of plastic, from the punch, you should remove. That piece will be in the tank cap. Removing this will prevent the Ego-T plastic taste.

LF's website sucks. It doesn't have a picture or tell you what type you are ordering. The Type A atty is cone shaped and the Type B atty is cylinder shaped and holds about .5ml more.

The tanks can be reused over and over. To get more use out of them, fill them up through the hole in the tank cap with an eyedropper. Repeated removal of the tank cap will cause it to eventually become loose between the cap and the tank.

Don't worry about it leaking. I'm convinced that most leaks are because people that don't know what they are doing. Just remember to do the following:
- Make sure the cap of the tank is snapped firmly into place
- Make sure the tank is pushed all the way into the atty. There should be no gap between the tank and the atty.
- If your kit comes with a soft rubber mouthpiece to put over the tank mouthpiece, do not use it. It will actually wick juice from from the joint between the atty and the tank.
- Leave the PV laying flat when not in use. If you leave the PV upright, gravity will eventually pull juice down to the compartment between the atty and the battery and you will hear a gurgling sound when you puff on it. Just take the battery off and clean up the juice right away.
- When you puff on it, and even between puffs, point the battery end of the PV toward the ground. Gravity will help feed the coil in your atty with juice. I think some people complaining about dry hits, no flavor or no vapor are not doing this.

Good luck...I hope you get your eGo-T soon.

I'll pile on as another no problems to speak of with my ego-t. I've had it since january. It isn't getting heavily used like it did for the first few months, but it still continues to function very well.

The one and only negative comment I can agree with is about the ego-t tending to reduce the flavor of many juices. I never liked any of my tobacco flavors in the tanks, but I still use mints and sweet/desert-type flavors in it and it does very well with them.

No problems here either. My first eGo-T atties, ordered in late January, are still alive. That said, I'm not using them much anymore as I prefer the type B (and the 510-T atties) over the type A.

Mine never leaked, popped or otherwise malfunctioned. I'm sure luck has something to do with it.

Happy vaping!

First, lots of great information in Gru's post. I have 5 Ego-T Type B Large Tank PVs, including one passthrough. I don't have any problems, and the longevity/performance all around is great. I think it's a top contender for the medium priced PVs. So far in the juices I make, the taste and vapor on the large tank is better than anything using filler material in my opinion. I might change my mind with some new things that just came out for the Ego-T. I think that you will enjoy your Ego-Ts.

The eGo-T works well in certain configurations. Type A - the tapered one that holds less juice - was for me an unmitigated disaster. Over several tanks and attys, it just didn't ever work reliably. When the LR (low resitance) version of the type A came out, I gave it a shot, and it was decent.

The Type B - cylinder shaped - works better than Type A and at least to me me usable in regular or LR versions. I do see I need to blow them out every day or so cause they wick a lot, but overall pretty good.

The 510-T - smallest capacity and can fit on 510 batteries or any 510 product - is the best one I have used. Either regular or LR, they don't leak at all. They don't flood. They work very well and even though they are the smallest capacity - about 15 drops or so - they have become my new favorite. I love the LR version!
