I have the Wild Cherry and the Catherine the Grape from VCV. I like both, just wish there was a little more flavor to them. Have some dripping attys on the way, maybe the full flavor will come out that way.
Some good choices there! I've loved Malty for a long time and I really enjoy VCV.

Malty?? I swear they forgot to put flavoring in the one I tried. I can't blame it on lack of steeping - it was about three months old - but I got absolutely nothing out of it.
(To be fair, it has a devoted following. It could very well be my taste buds are at fault.)

That is so funny. To me, Catherine the Grape is a flavor bomb. Any more flavor and it would be overwhelming.
Might be me then. I have a serious case of vaper's tongue, and my taste buds are changing like crazy from the lack of analogs. I may have left the caps off my bottles for too long when steeping too.
Everyone is different....
I personally wouldn't steep VCV with the cap off. After I let in a little air and give it a good long shake, I put the cap back on the bottle and just tuck it away. Their is no alcohol in them that needs to evaporate, so there is no need to leave the cap off.
Congratulations on giving up the analogs!

Velvet Cloud vapor
Wild Cherries
Vanilla Custard
Peach Tea
I really like the peach tea-the peach comes through and it matches the description. The cherry and custard are alright but pretty subtle flavors, I expect they'll become more pronounced with some steep time. I was curious to try custard since I hear so much about custard vapes-this one is pretty subtle so far. The cherry is a nice natural cherry not like maraschino or candy. Really large clouds of vapor from all of them . They also sent me a 10ml free sample of both the peach tea and also white beard which was pretty nice of them (haven't tried white beard yet-I can't get the bottle open, lol). I have never ordered form anyone who was this generous with samples. I don't know why I waited so long to order from this vendor, I'll definitely do it again.
I think you are right that the VCV Vanilla Custard is subtle. It is pretty eggy and the vanilla is low key. I really like it that way though. If you want a vanilla bumb, try Custard's Last Stand from Nicoticket. His custard is more vanilla, less egg, and it's really delicious, too.
You should give VCV's Nightshift a try. Yum-mee!
I currently have most of 503 liquids....and really enjoy their Purple Rain (Aptly named MN e liquid after Prince!) it has a light grape flavor that ends on a floral note.....something you either love or hate. The Cherry is nice-not cough syrup tasting at all but it is a strong liquid.
firephly: I am a complete Virgin Vapor fan and they have fantastic florals. My absolute favorite right now is "Hummingbird Fuel" (VVs newest flavor)..it smells like incense and the taste is hard to describe-hmm incense/sandalwood with a non sweet honey-ends with a floral note Absolutely awesome!
Other florals from there that I would recommend would be: "Bed of Roses"...they won awards with this one....Or for a nice twist-Lemon Rose water. (VVs "Night Blooming Jasmine" smells divine-and is a very strong flavor.)
Where did you order Maha Ras from? Having heck of a time finding who carries this.
Sorry I just saw this post/your response!!!!! I have almost finished off my latest 30 ml bottle of Hummingbird Fuel already!!! And yes that was my review. I will be interested in seeing what you think of it if you order some.
I would love to find someone else who has the same taste in liquids to compare notes...you can kind of tell by what others mention as their favorites are as to whether their recommendations would be something you would like yourself-if that makes sense?
I've thought about starting a thread to try and find others who like what I like: high VG, natural tasting flavors, teas, fruits, floral's, occasional mild tobaccos, earthy herbal tasting blends, and malts. I guess that's my flavor profile so far. I've been thinking of trying a few of the bakery and sweet stuff too since that is something I've been skeptical about.
I need to go back and re visit my AIVs...I had ordered the big sampler and never really gave them the chance/attn they should have had. I know I reordered a bottle of quiet morning...and enjoy that. I have a sampler and a few larger bottles from them too and I have been letting them steep since they mostly seem to need that. In this cold climate the let them sit in the dark method didn't seem to be doing much so I put all my juice in a box and then set a piece of 1/2" plywood on the radiator and set the box on top for a day, just so they could get warm but not too warm, and it really worked! I tried some things that had almost no flavor and now the flavors are coming out. From AIV so far I like the 15 foot falls, all the teas, still need to revisit the rest though.
Another vendor I am intrigued with has been Velvet Cloud Vapor. I will have to try Maha Ras now-thanks for the suggestion.
Oh I think you'll love Velvet Cloud vapor! I recently got the peach tea, the custard, and the cherry. They are pretty mild so I am gonna do that radiator method again and shake them up real good, but so far they are really nice, natural tasting juice. They also sent me two free 10ml samples (another peach tea and white beard). The white beard is a kind of sweet tobacco which is pretty good as well-although I'd prefer it wasn't so sweet, I'm not a fan of caramel type tobacco.
The only Lavender I have tried (I was pretty excited about trying it) was from Mt Baker....YUCK!!!! It was soooo unbelievably strong I could not get the taste out of my mouth! Scared to try Lavender again right now. I expected it to be light...Nope.
Lotus flower does sound intriguing!!!
I want to try making my own liquids here soon-just sounds like a big learning curve...thats on my to-do list along with learning rebuildable drip atomizers, and getting more of a handle on VV/Watts/ohms and the interaction. Need more time in my days
I know how to build the coils now, but I haven't taken the the time to practice much yet, it really does bring out the flavor though, it's true.
