The other night I dropped my evic and broke the cone off of the head, severing the soldered wires. It's funny because normally when something like this happens it upsets me, but not this time. I shrugged it off and took it as a sign that it is finally time to buy something that will last me more than a few months. I dug into my stash and charged up some old ego batteries and have been using those to tide me over.
Tonight I took the plunge and ordered a Diablo Hybrid from eonvape. The ETA is about two weeks to shipping and probably closer to three to reach my door step. In the mean time, I need to learn about RBA's and order some supplies. I am all about experimenting, but in reality my jumbled together ego/crappy tank setup will only last me so long before I go crazy. I don't want to order the wrong gauge wire or the wrong type of wick only to be disappointed and have to place another order and wait even longer. With that being said, what should I order in terms of wire and wick that will allow me to get a solid vape when my new toy arrives? I would like to go as low res as safely possible, somewhere in the .08 - 1.2 ohm range.
With all of my setups in the past ranging from cartos to vivi's, juice delivery has always been a major issue with me. I somehow always end up getting dry hits and that lingering burnt taste. Is this ever an issue with RBA's and if so how can I avoid that. What will wick the juice up well and keep me in a perpetual cloud of vapor.
Any tips and tricks would be welcomed.
Also, this is off topic but I need batteries and very decent charger capable of charging 4+ batteries as I plan on using the Diablo primarily in 18350 mode. Are there any sites with good prices on IMR's at the moment?
