I switched to e-smokes years ago and then went back to analogues for whatever reason. Although I was able to get my mother and grandmother to switch to electronic during that time. Now I'm ready to switch back to electronic again and made my first order in years!

I ordered a Halo G6 after doing some google searching on good brands and even ordered a few of their min-tanks to boot plus a few flavors to try out. I never used anything other than a cartomizer so that should be interesting, and I made sure to order some nitrile gloves just to protect me from my own clumsiness...

So I guess I'm not NEW to e-smokes, but I am just now coming back into it and would like it if anyone had any advice regarding the brands and stuff and what kind of e-smokes you like and whatnot would be nice.

Thanks!

I started vaping 3 months ago and started with V2 cigs with cartos then stepped up to the G6 mini tanks (my first clearos) WOW what a difference. They are easy to fill and have a much cleaner taste than the V2 and Halo cartos.

I loved my Halo Mini tanks. I say loved because I have since stepped up my game to a Halo Triton VV with Halo tanks. And then stepped up my game once again to the iTaste MVP with Kanger Protanks.

But the Halo G6 and Mini tank are great products. If you ever feel like the G6 isn't cutting it get the Halo Triton VV, trust me once you experience variable voltage you will never look back. Total game changer.

Welcome to ECF! You went back to cigarettes just like I did the first time. Make sure you got juice with a high enough nic level to get over the hump. That was my problem the first go-round. Took me 24mg for a while to kick the habit and then I started cutting. Good luck to you, stay strong. :)

One other question I do have is that since the little rubber .... of the Halo cartomizer can come out in a pocket what would be a good, small, case that I could use to pocket it in assembled form to protect it while I go about the day?
I'm not familiar with what you have, but I have a few ways I pocket my eGo batteries with Evods/Mini Protanks, and they might also work for you or give you ideas....

I lined a mint tin with craft foam. This will carry a 650mAh ego-style battery and a clearo (separately) with room leftover for a second clearo or battery.

I bought a hard plastic cigar tube and drilled holes in it (to prevent it from being airtight-- that's good for cigars, not clearomizers). This will carry one of my aforementioned clearos on one of my batteries.

I bought a cheap hard case for eyeglasses. It carries two clearo-on-battery setups side-by-side with a little space leftover. When I'm using a Mini Protank, I have to replace the Kanger drip tip with a shorty.

Moral of the story: look for some cheap, everyday containers. You might be surprised what works. I just found a 3oz plastic bottle designed for carrying shampoo on an airplane, for example, in which my new Smoktech Magneto mod fits perfectly, as if it's a plastic tube designed to pocket my mod.
