I agree... I actually have been on the fence about buying some wire and wick to just recoil the Kanger's myself...

Jump on off that fence onto the rebuild side, you won't regret it. Get some 32 ga. kanthal for the easiest to wrap with, 6 or 7 evenly spaced tight wraps on a 1/16th drill bit, wick with some cotton, not too tight, or 2 strands of 1mm hemp (my favorite) and get ready for a great vape.

its the heads that started coming with the new aerotank mega and minis. Just 4 holes on each side without wicks sticking out. (they is something out however after a couple of tanks... dunno if thats supposed to happen lol). Its a redesign of the evod2 like heads.

havent compared them to the old style heads.. will do soon since no one freakin sells the new ones locally.

Are you talking about the ones for the Protanks/evod/mini Protanks? I got 2 packs of them from Discount Vapers a couple months ago. But yeah, do what BigCatDaddy said and order Kanthal and whatever wicking material you prefer. Rebuilding is a much better vape.
No... the one's i'm talking about came with the NEW Kanger Aerotank's ( Mini/Mega)... they are the same dimensions as the current dual coils that they offer making them compatible with all tanks that use the current dual coils. The design is a bit different as the wicks which once protruded from the sides are now enclosed.

Well, it would be nice for those using Kanger tanks who don't rebuild to be able to get coils that aren't total crap.
Having not yet rebuilt a coil, I would defer to the recommendations of my elder compatriots here who have.

But if someone still wants to buy their coils rather than build their own, I've heard here in ECF that Halo's Triton coils are compatible with Kangertech T-2 tanks. I can personally attest that the Halo coil assemblies are of very good quality, having used them in my Triton tanks for several months now. I read on ECF back when I first joined that the Halo-branded coils seem to be of better quality than the Kanger-branded ones.

I hope this helps...

Edit:
No... the one's i'm talking about came with the NEW Kanger Aerotank's ( Mini/Mega)...
OK, never mind. :p

I bought them for my PT3 Mini... the only tank that I have that requires dual coils... I have been vaping with them since this thread started and they have been performing good... to be honest I don't notice a huge difference between these and the other dual coils as far as flavor output and vapor production... I actually thought that the holes around the enclosed wicks wouldn't be big enough and cause dry hits more easily. To my surprise that hasn't been the case. I mainly vape a 50/50 mix and that's the thickest I have used so far with these coils but once more the performance is on par with the current/older gen. So far I haven't experienced any leaking/gurgling with these.

Thanks. I might have to try it myself, then.

Somewhere out there
Sun-vapers.com also has the new style mega/mini coils now. I'm rather impressed with the one in my Aero mini tank. I've not tried any of the regular Kanger dual-coil tanks, so can't compare. I get very good flavor from the new coil. It doesn't seem to produce much vapor, but that's of low importance to me. No leaks or gurgling after 5 or 6 tank fills.
