Ok well I just ordered the Joye eGo from cignot, I was told my order made the 6:00 pm evening truck so I'm hoping it won't take long to receive it. I also ordered extra cartridges.

I'm pretty sure my husband can quit a lot easier than I can, he says he doesn't need something like an e cig but he says it's too hard for him to quit if I'm still smoking.

Anyway just wanted to say I ordered....lol.

You made a good choice with the Ego. The battery life is such that one battery will last you all day. The kit with two batteries ensures that you won't have a reason to go back to analogs while a battery is charging.

Vapor is good with a 510 and slightly better with the Ego. Both are 3.7 volt batteries, but the larger current capacity of the Ego battery keeps the voltage up, thus hotter atomizing and better taste.

Congrats on your new 'baby' :)

If you can, try not to put too much pressure on yourself. There is a vast range of experiences here--some quit immediately, others simply cut down on the analogs, still others can't seem to make a successful transition.

The biggest thing (ok, excuse) that kept me smoking 1-1.5 PAD for almost 31 years was that I always lived with other chain smokers...and was convinced that I was powerless to quit if I was around them.

Wrong! I quit as soon as my first eGo battery was charged, made it through my week #1 intense cravings, and now I can think about analogs without my eyelid twitching :p (I live with TWO chain smokers, btw)

My mother, on the other hand, has not quit entirely (yet), but has gone from a PAD to maybe 1-2 analogs a day in just under 2 weeks.

This forum has been phenomenal as a source of support and inspiration for me, and has been absolutely key in my ability to become a confident vaper...as I'm certain you and your husband will be in no time. :)

Lol I'm with you on that...my first e-cig (an eGo) is waiting to be delivered from my local P.O. , as well as the 510 battery and extra stuff i ordered 2 days after (before i even got to try the first one! lol...>.<) the ego would've been here yesterday but somehow someway I accidentally put a town 5 minutes away from where I live and it got sent to the wrong P.O. it's at the right one now :) So..camping the mailbox it is.

Don't forget your Ghillie suit to hide in the front lawn in that spot you forgot to weedeat/pushmow, some claymore's to plant inches in front of where his tires will stop as he reaches your box, and a sniper rifle to take out his back tires in case he manages to avoid your claymores if he tries to leave without delivering your packages!!!

Hmm...maybe mixing modern warfare 2 humor with the U.S. Postal Service was a bad idea...i hope a mailman doesn't read this..it's a joke i swear! Though, i will be frustrated if the mail goes by without stopping here today..extremely.

MrsangelD I'm sure you are going to be pleasantly surprised when you start using your eGo. I was. 42 years of 2+ packs a day. Haven't had a cig since the moment I picked up the eGo, 3 weeks and 1 day ago.

If you haven't already ordered some juice, do it now. Those prefilled carts won't last for long. There are some sampler packs available out there. And its fun ordering 10 or so different samples at time.

Yes, you will need some extra blank carts and probably some spare atomizers too.

Cignot is a great company. Everything I have ordered has always arrived on the 4th business day.

Good luck and welcome.

I actually had the same issue. I could quit but my wife never could. She tried everything and could never go more than a day without her half a pack. She has been smoke free from the instant she got her PV. I'm really proud of her but she keeps saying it was easy.

I'm sure you will both find great success. You have a great device, just make sure to keep spares of everything and lots of juice so you aren't forced to revert to the flaming version.

Welcome and yes the Ego is a great PV...I bought one in Feb and have been using it ever since....Don't forget extra attys and of course the juice...I re-fill my own carts, so that is never a problem...There is also a social Ego group here, so if you have any questions concerning the Ego, just ask....Take care and Enjoy the Adventure...

I'm sure it will come tomorrow, did you check the tracking on the package to see where its at in its journey?

BTW I recommend a nice set of camo, a good set of binoculars, and a giant net when you setup your mail man watch.

I have been looking at the tracking info but according to the USPS site the darn thing is still in transit. Sometimes I wonder how accurate those trackers are.

Well go here USPS - Track & Confirm - Put our delivery information to work for you instead of your account on cignot and paste the tracking number in. I found it is more up to date than the other. Also, if it was processed through the sorting facility closest to your house (mine is honolulu) it usually comes the following day.
