thanks so much for all of the advice. I think I have decided to buy from FreedomsmokeUSA.com. I'll be buying the eGo kit for $68.99, and two bottles of juice, possible with different nic strengths and pv/pb content. I'll also buy a couple spare attys and carts. So i'm guessing around $95 plus tax although i'm sure it will be more then i estimate. Does that sound reasonable/a good choice?

Do I need to buy filler or how long does that last? When it says like 5 blank carts for sale, does that mean there's filler inside or is it really totally blank?

I've been using a 510 for a couple months now...my guess would be:

2 batteries
2 atomizers (maybe 3, if you want to play around with flavors)
a PCC
5-7 different 5ml bottles of e-juice, in differing flavors/strengths/VG/PG blends.

Again, this is only my best guess. :) Happy Vaping!

Get the MEGA 510 batteries 280 mAh vs reg 180 mAh ((Get 3-4 if you dont get a passthru))
Remember FAILURE is always an option

PCC can wait but if you do get one make sure it fits the battery you get

Soon as you find a flavor you like probably good idea to reorder 15-30ml bottle so you wont run out while TRYING everything.

5pk of cartomizers wouldnt hurt and would give you some backup in case of premature atty failure. (if you like cartomizers better atty's become backups) ALWAYS have backups

Eventually you should plan on a passthru to use at home possibly car to save batteries, but if you dont smoke much this may be overkill, but it's a great backup to battery failure in any event.

Luv my 510, but think getting the mega kit for the battery life is the way to go!!I got mine at madvapes a very good sorce!!! I get my juice from a person here on this forum Don at Back Woods Brew, he makes really tasty ejuice Applewood is my fav. and Honey Flue Nut a second fav., but everyone raves about Malty so my next will be to try Malty.
I could be wrong, but I think madvapes uses boge 510, not joye. I havent tested boge setups yet to get an opinion, but different manufacturers means different model.

Hey everyone, I'm about to order a Joye 510 kit. I ordered a different e cig but it's carto's only. Anyways, I would like to order everything to keep me satisfied for around 2 months without having to order again, so can you please tell me a list of things I will be needing. First off, right now I smoke around 5 analogs a day, either newport 100's or marb reds, but I plan on totally eliminating them.

What is everything I should order along with the Joye 510 kit for 2 months? including extra attys, cartridges, juice and whatever else I may need. I have no clue how often i need to change cartridges or attys or juice and I've researched for a few days but everything is confusing to me so I'll just trust you guys on what to order.

thanks!

Need more info, but what youve said, your an easy setup. A standard 510 kit will do. If only 5 cigs a day, standard batteries will do fine. Megas are for ppl that smoke over a pack a day or just want bigger battery in hand. You'll still want 24 mg liquid. Liquid you just have to test. Im a Johnson creek guy myself, and they do have sample packs, but 18 mg. You wont be going through atties much at 5 cigs a day...in fact you could plan on a couple months of use per atty as long as you store it cart down in a shot glass at night. But I personally don't like less than 5 spares around:p PCC kits are for those on the go, as well as car chargers. Those are based on lifestyle, so need more info. sampling liquid manufacturers and flavors are just part of the transition, so buy ya like 3 bottles of 3ml different flavors from 3-5 different places if you can afford. Each manufacturer is completely different, but you'll find what you like eventually. I have yet to find a great newport. Good luck:)

anyone have any advice if this is a good purchase? I would like to order soon, but I want some feedback before I do so.

Thank you!

Ego is a 510 vapor, but not a 510 feel. Its a mod, remember that. 510 is a lil cig feeling thing. 510 is held in 2 or 3 fingers, ego is a fistful. To each their own. I buy batting from local pet store. I use white fluval. Carts come with wool batting, and it works, but you need to lessen the amount the factory puts in there by about half. cart use depends on how hot you get that atty going, and how much you chose to chew on it. 10 is good, and if it fits loose, replace it, less you lose a cart. Mine still last a month with heavy vaping. batting I replace regularly though, just cause I can. The rest will fall into place once you have it in hand, and just use it daily and decide how you like things to be.

thebigcheif thanks for all of your information, very helpful.

I was a litte dissapointed in myself for not ordering last night, but i felt I needed some more info first so I think today I will be ordering it for sure. My last questions (I'm sure there will be more)....

1. If I were to order your standard joye eGo kit off of say, cignot or freedomsmokeusa, Could I also buy a 510 battery and then I would have a full 510, because isn't the eGo a 510 with a eGo batt? Because I'm sure I'll be fine with the size of eGo in a few weeks but I think for now I'd like a smaller more analog style e-cig to adjust...If so, I'll just order an extra 510 batt with my eGo kit

2. can all brands of eGo's use other eGo brand parts? like joye, janty, riva...

Three things...

1- Get a drip tip ;-) they are el cheapo

2- why not pay a few more bucks and go for the ego/Tornado/Riva? A few folks have these kits under $50 - see happysmokes.com... (plus a discount on top of the discount)
The 511 is great, but Batteries don't last too long... I ended up getting an eGo three weeks into my vaping.

3- Order juice from a few different vendors... don't get bored and locked into on brand or a couple flavors.

Hey, thanks for the advice. Not sure if you read pg. 3 or not, but I've decided to spend the extra money and go with a Joye eGo, my newest questions are on the last post of pg. 3

Thank you!

To my knowledge, yes, that would be theoretically do-able since it's the battery that seems to be the difference between the 510s and the eGos. But keep in mind that I don't think the eGo charger will work for that battery, so you would have to get a battery and charger. The eGo cone wouldn't fit, either, but all your carts and atomizers and even the drip tip you get for your eGo are also threaded to fit the 510. As someone who went from a skinny Virginia Slim right to an eGo, it's really not much of a difference....I think it took me all of five minutes.

USA NY $9.60 a pack!
my advice, drop the folks at freedomsmokeusa an email and set up an order. there price for the genuine ego is good and there customer service is phenomenal. get a few different mixes. the pg/vg ratio is important. try some of both 100% pg and 100% vg. and mixed as well. Definitely dont order a ton of juice of the same flavor tho...you may get tired of some very quickly.
