well, its finally happened and i ordered the provari!
it is a provari v2.5 mini starter kit, which includes the batteries/charger/protank, total came out to $209.

had to order since my vamo v2 just for some reason broke down as it kept saying "Lo" even when my batteries were fully charged.
i could've just replaced the batteries but i couldn't really tell if the batteries were the problem so i said hell w/ it and ordered the provari.

it will either be the worst decision i ever made or the best. honestly i somewhat regret the purchase, i feel like provari is just a vamo w/ a made in USA sticker slapped on the back. i think for vape quality, it's the attys that make the biggest difference, not the mod itself(?)

oh well time will tell, i got a ups tracking number the following day, hoping it gets here by next monday or tuesday. i'll write a follow up review once i try it out.

Shelling out over $200 bucks for a mod is the easy part I found out. The hard part is waiting those several days until it arrives at your house! Mine should arrive in a couple hours!

Your 'lo' reading on your vamo is likely not the battery. It's probably the center pin that got pressed down too much. Use tweezers or something to lift it a hair and it should fire your tanks. Keep it working long enough to receive your provari!

Strange statement since you're purchasing it to replace a malfunctioning unit, if you really thought that you'd be purchasing another $40 tube.

You don't even have to fire it. Once the Provari hits your hand you'll be able to tell the difference. Using it after that will just reassure you've got one of, if not the most durable, accurate best backed devices out there.

so i got my provari mini a few days ago and my first impression was "hey, not bad".
honestly, i was expecting it to blow me away due to all the reviews/hype, but it was decent.

the first day, it vaped like a champ. but after that, for some reason the protank 2 that came w/ the kit (and my other protank 2) kept leaking/gurgling, making it virtually unable to vape. this is my 4th day and i still struggle with this problem. i'd take off the tank and i'll try wipe off liquid in the batt connector every 5 minute.

this is a bit disappointing to me as i thought switching to provari would alleviate some of these issues.

what could be the problem?

Oh, the issue is with the PT, not the provari, no doubt. Mods/PVs don't generally make the tanks leak (and there are a lot of threads on this forum regarding PT leaks).

Attys are preference, just about anything will work on the Provari as long as it doesn't get airflow through the connector and the atty is screwed down far enough it cuts the airflow off.

The Kayfun and Russian is popular and easy to build with lots of info available. If budget and size isn't an issues I'd recommend this especially if your new to rebuildables, probably the easiest to get the hang of outside of a basic dripper.

If you want to try a Genesis style I'm lovin the Kraken but they are more advanced, I wouldn't recommend for someone new to rbas.

If you're in to mass produced tanks with replaceable heads here's a vid that compares some popular ones. A PBusardo Review & Contest Winner - The Battle Of The Bottoms & The Stocking Winner - YouTube
