Thought I'd share...
So I took my failed bottom feed 3.7v box and a no cable 510 USB charger and threw this together.
I just popped the case on the charger and took out the guts then took the 510 battery connector off the charger, ran - wire from led and + from switch in. I also added a drip catch (#10 finishing washer)...and secured my switch and atty connector with epoxy putty. Added a stray USB cap for when not being charged.
I wasn't sure if would work for charging but it does...yay. (Obviously pretty darn slow...only around 200mAh).
I can also charge and vape at the same time with it. Well, it charges when I'm not vaping while it is plugged in. Not exactly a PT cause the charger doesn't put out enough amps to power the unit w/o the battery in there (yea, I had to try
).
All in all it turned out like I planned and works great with LR atty. Would have been better to replace the full size male USB connector with a female micro or something so it wouldn't stick out but I used what I had...hehe and it gave me something to do with a couple hours the other night anyways.
Finished

Red is charging...

Green is charged...

Well...enough from me...thanks for lookin' all...
