i started with 36mg - but i smoked for 30 years. I'm a bit further down the road now - i have better equipment that i know how to get the best from and dropped to 6mg over time - i was at 18mg for ages, and that was fine too.

I have no real desire to stop vaping, since there is some evidence that a bit of nicotine might help old farts like me not lose their minds. Besides, all i did was swap 1:1 smoking for vaping. Nothing more.

Wake up - have a smoke. Nope - wake up - have a vape.
Eat a meal - have a smoke. Nope - eat and have a vape.

I'll spare you the post coital vape ;)

Chemically speaking, the cravings should stop after 3 days of being nicotine free (on average the amount of time it takes to leave ones system).

Its the lifestyle habit that is hard to break (IMO). The wake up, smoke, eat, smoke, driving, smoke, break from work/class, smoke, etc etc.

Once I discovered a set-up that provided enough of an experience to rival or surpass a cigarette (that is, it really felt like I was smoking something, there was enough flavor for it to be truly noticed, and, since I choose to continue using nicotine in my juices, I felt my nicotine craving was met) the lifestyle switch became tremendously easy.

Instead of "quitting smoking" I simply "started vaping", putting analogs behind me was an easy decision due to how much more satisfying vaping was.

In my experience, it was largely a matter of delivery; I had a blu years ago and didn't look at it twice, my vision spinner/protank set up just wasn't enough to get me to switch, I had to invest in a little bit more powerful delivery device and a better topper to get where I needed to be to HAPPILY leave cigarettes behind.

Keep with it and enjoy the journey!

Hi, it may be between 10-20 days for you to forget about your cigs. Somewhere between 5-10 days you may want to go through your dwelling/car/garage/smoking corner and get rid of any smokes, clean your astrays and fill them with nuts or candy or just wash and put them away in a cabinet somewhere. Any lighters you have around can be used in coil building so keep them in your mod took kit. And yes... if you don't have a mod/atty tool kit, you will mythically build one! :D

Vape On!
