Well as a newbie to the e-cigs also my experience is perhaps not much help but what i have noticed is the nic levels give a more violent throat hit the higher they go, its also not like a real cigs hit but takes my breath away instead, I guess the only way i can describe it is raw.
all my juices so far have been 24mg and I just recieved an 18 mg RY4 and the raw take your breath away feeling isnt there as much although I really love the flavor from my vanilla 24mg.

For the people with more experience in the e-juice department what ways can I weaken the 24mg juices I have without losing the flavors in them???

8 days without a real cig so far and sucking like a madman on my innokin AIO, working a treat and coming from 25+ a day B&H habit driving trucks im quite suprised its working!!

I vaped at 36mg for over 1.5 years, I think. I finally was able to reduce it to 24mg, then to 16-19mg, which is where I am right now. Occasionally I'll vape 12mg so I'll probably transition down again soon.

If you are vaping at 18mg and still crave (and smoke) cigarettes, don't hesitate to move up to 24mg. That will probably do it but if it doesn't, keep moving up till you are able to stop smoking the tobacco analogues. Worry about reducing the nic levels after you've given up the smokes.

I vaped about a year at 18mg while still smoking as well. I changed two things that finally got me to quite for good.
One: I upped my nic to 24mg
two: I changed my mindset from need to quit to want to quit.
That being said I still use 24mg 6 months later. I DIY so I use between 22 and 24 all day every day. I have given thought to lowering my nic but I am happy where I am.

Just asking the experts here, but if I smoke 2 packs of Marlboro Reds a day for the last 20 years.
If I start vaping, I should start at 36mg?

I would. I smoked about as much as you and I was able to quit them the day my first kit came in because I started at 36mg. I'm down to 24mg at work and 18mg at home now...

I would get the same flavor in 36mg and 24mg. If you need to cut the nic a little, you can always combine the two and come out around 30mg.

Get the same flavor eliquid in 11mg and combine the two to the strength that works for you. For example: 50% 24mg and 50% 11mg will = 17.5mg. You will reduced the nic strength without reducing the flavor.

I'll bet that 24mg will do it for you but everyone is different so it's hard to know until you try. I would advise you to buy both 18mg and 36mg so you can adjust the nic level if necessary.

Edited to add: sorry - didn't realize that ww2win already told you basically the same thing!
