Is this an American Charger or a European Charger, theres a difference, I think. LOL

Oh, yeah. I remember now. When I ordered mine, the seller asked me to specify which adapter I wanted. I think you can ask for the European plug when you order. I you're not sure, try e-mailing the seller first? I'm new too, but have ordered 2 kits so far. Hope that helps...

Most of the supplied chargers with DSE901's can run as it is said on US or EU inputs hence 100-240Volts, they are usually sold with a lead having the 2 round poles fitting to go into the wall sockets and a "figure 8" lead into the charger , however they also have a 12V in jack , and they accept the std "figure 8 " leads you may already have for electronic stuff around the house... I use some leads I had for charging units I already have for camera batteries...

If you ordered from an American company, it's probably American. If from a foreign site, yep, I would write and ask too. I have had to specify I needed a US plug when ordering from China and the one time I didn't, I rec'd a Euro one.

If your purchased from China, i'd also suggest that you email them to make sure.

I've also received a US plug when i'm supposed to get a UK one. Nowadays, i just make sure i leave them a message and it usually works out fine.

Plug type, I never considered that, though it seems obvious now. I hope the one I've got on the way from China doesn't end up being for Chinese outlets. That would royally blow.

Don't worry bout it, man....I'm not saying you'll definitely get a different plug but even if you do, it can usually be solved with a very inexpensive adaptor.
