Just received my Riva 510... lots of vapour but no throat hit?

Hi guys,

I just received my Riva 510 in the mail from Liberty Flights, which I coupled with a bottle of 18mg PG RY4 from Cloud 9.

I've only just got it charged up and working, but I'm worried something is wrong. I'm getting loads of nice tasting vapour but there's absolutely zero throat hit. It just feels like warm air.

Is this something to do with the atomizer being new, and that I should just give it time? Maybe I didn't put enough liquid in the cart (~10 drops)? But if that's the case then why am I getting loads of vapour?

Edit: I've just tried dripping directly onto the atomizer and this is a huge improvement in terms of throat hit. Should I just do away with the catridges then? The problem with that is I don't wanna have to carry a bottle around with me when I go out. Are tanks the way to go? Cheers.

It maybe is the way your inhaling . I too (when I first started , got no throat hit . I found , with a little practice , and experimentation , that if I started the inhale , just a bit earlier than usual (just before removing e-cig from mouth) that I could get th , from even 0 nic juice . Try out some different methods . Once you figure it out , it will be easy to do , whenever you want . And welcome

Did you pick up one of the Riva 510 "regular" kits or a Riva 510 SE? I got the SE version that came with two 2 ohm attys, dunno about the regular kits... They both worked pretty well for dripping, but the carts would just not keep up.

I personally just dropped the carts in my routine all together, just used the attys for dripping and cartos for when I wasn't.

Mine is the standard edition - I was told the only difference with the SE was a metalic finish on the components?

Would refillable cartomizers be an improvement?
