All I can saw is wow What a throat hit and great flavor. I maybe a little more than I need throat hit I mean. Have a couple of questions. I have been vaping for 2 years now. I have used alot of stuff. This by far is my best experience so far.

First question I'm sure the throat hit is so strong is because the resistance of the coil I made is 1.3. My question is what should I do to increase this to like 1.8 to 2.0.

I'm using 32 gauge A1 Kanthal resistance wire with 32 ga silver bead wire I got from hobby lobby with a 3mm Silica Wick

Second question or should I cut my juice in half from 24mg.

From my experience I thought the juice causes good throat hit but I'm starting to think this is more about the resistance of the coil and the device I'm using.

Any help would be great.

I was just wondering what the voltage/wattage you are using it on. Could be a combination of low Ohms and maybe too high wattage/volts. I chose the Odysseus type of atomizer because of the smoothness it provided. I got the same performance from the Terminator. Also you might need to open up the juice control and get more juice on those wicks and you might get less TH.

To get higher ohms with any wire it takes more coil wraps. I would think with 32awg kanthal, though it would be hard to get such low ohms. I would try to spin a WIDER coil to get more wire in the cup, and maybe add an extra wrap or to as well and see what that gets you.

As far as lowering your nic level, that can be a personal choice, but for me, 24 is really high. I started with that, but quickly stepped it down to 18, then 15, and settled on 10. The th never really suffered. I know the first day I used my terminator, I felt like I was gettin a buzz, kinda like people say geni's do. It'd be worth a try, and if it's not getting you the satisfaction you're looking for you can always step it back up.

I'm using a provari at 3.6 volts that's the highest I can go before I get the e1 error. About adding more wraps I don't think I can do that I could barley get the coil in the cup the way it is. I could buy some 28ga kanthal though. I did get a good buzz last night, so I'm going to see what happens today. I got a couple new juices from Rawr, so I'm not use to them yet. Maybe it's just the juice.

could always be the juice, i have a few over the last year that tore my throat up compared to what i normally vape..

i would drop the voltage a few.1's and see if that doesnt help cool it off. i know in my dripper i can usually drop a few points and cool off the hit without loosing too much of the vapor cloud.

if you go down on wire gauge the resistance will drop further

You should be able to get more wraps in there. I usually get 2ohm coils in my Ody with 32g it probably has to do with the size of your wick, I use 3.5mm so it takes more wire to get same number of wraps. I think those clones use 2 or 2.5mm you need to double your wick in the coil area. It'll give you higher resistance with same number of wraps also seems to wick better. Check out Scott's video he does a great job walking you through it.

Edit: Also be sure to torch your wick and wire before building, it will greatly reduce break in period.

Thanks Thrasher, I wont go to a lower ga than. I checked today again resistance is still 1.3. I'm thinking now that maybe the wick didn't have enough juice because the throat hit isn't as bad now. I will tell you though it is still there and I like that. That is the main reason I tried a rba is because I wanted a better throat hit.

yea i agree, when i wake up my little dripper floors me with that first hit from soaking all night. like the other poster said it could be the flow isnt keeping up with the wicking also. keep playing and youll get it
