Yes I use bootcamp to run windows 7, I think you can still run mac os with a PC, as long as your have the hardware that is compatible with mac os. Just visit Hackintosh forums, that's what you call a pc or other kind of computer that runs mac os but isn't made by apple. =p
Personally mac os is pretty decent overall, but it lacks the compability with to many programs I use for me to have it as my main OS, reason why I use window 7 mainly. As for why its a macbook pro... well, I just love its looks =).

@martinc thanks for the welcome, though i am unsure what a PV is, i have checked the site you listed, that is really does not look to interesting to me. I have contacted one of the suppliers from the list i got for a question. I am unclear on a few things, but if i get the money together i will be sure to try the supplier i seen..looks interesting

Though if anyone is interested, i ran across something in joke that says "Gospel according to Tux" i read it back in 1999 and found it again and made a copy.

Hey Hunting Wolf, just wanted to let you know that if there are terms that you are unsure of and they come up underlined, eg. PV, you can hover your mouse over them to get the definition. Just for clarification PV = personal vaporizer/electronic cigarette. Some prefer to distance themselves and their device from the word 'cigarette' in order to avoid the negative connotations associated with them. You'll see people using the term PV all over this forum.

actually i envy you being on the west, was in Kimberly BC for 4 years (there about), the mountains are the best....they are always so inviting....as for heading south, i heard Kansas is nice and warm right now but either way i pretend to pout and go off to watch a few new releases of movies lol
Hahaha.....no trades, not a chance!! Mind you, my kidlets are moping because 'this doesn't feel like Christmas without snow'....meanwhile, I'm secretly doing cartwheels because I haven't had any snow to shovel except for one day early in December! Heeheehee!!
it has been a very mild dusting (i guess) of snow, but to make up for that there is a .... load of crashes.....i can relate to your kids, i mean without a ton of snow then it seriously does not feel the same

amen! now on the same token the government is going to have to take a four week all expenses trip to Jamaica in January to discuss how they can stimulate the snow fall, and just how bad they are in the hole for the snow removal, and then come up with a action plan to distribute a whopping $20.00 to all the provinces as a snow cleaning budget =)) I believe when i was in Calgary last year it was November of 2010 when City Hall made a announcement saying they accidentally spent all their winter budgets for winter time stuff....that was creepy.
Hmmmmm, I may have spoke too soon. Very early this morning while my oldest daughter was taking the dog for a walk, the other three came bounding into my room very excitedly. I, still asleep (or wishing that I was), asked them what was going on. They ran to my window, pulled the shades and said, "LOOK!!!!!! It's SNOWING!!!!!" Sure enough, there is about 4cm out there and it is still accumulating......argggggghhhhhhh.
