No sub ohnming for me, I'm running a 2.0 coil and the ¶rovari reads it at 2.1 and volting at 4.0-4.2. Yeah I just stick with getting the aw bats from local b&m or provape just to be safe.

Yeah those numbers look in range. Not certain why the e1...It only happens when you tighten it down? Does it fire when not reading e1?
Yeah its only when I tighten it down, just doin a snug fit kinda tight then the button flashed quickly and the E1 pops up. I figure it must be to tight to cause a fault.

Different attys have different lengths of firing pins. Unfortunately, the v2.5 Provari does not have an adjustable pin. So I think you should try to not over tighten that one.
Sounds like tightening down is crunching something in the atomizer, and causing a short...
You could fiddle with the "pin" at the bottom of the clearo, or with how tight the coil is inside and see if that helps.
The "beauty rings" to cover the gap are a LITTLE hit and miss - different brands vary in height - one may fit perfect, one may "spin loose" and one may keep the topper from making a connection. The one from ProVape is only $10 and pretty good to give a shot, next time you're buying anything from ProVape...

And finally - the ProVari chip is kind of "optimized" for those AW IMR batteries and the way they drain.
You CAN use another hi-drain button top, but even if it LOOKS rated for more MAH, it's likely to NOT give you longer vape time than the AW's! There IS a brand new AW IMR version out, that's got a slightly higher rating (MAH and AMPS) - I'm gonna give those a try if/when I need any more batts...

I'm just gonna use the batteries that provape recommends and not over tighten the tank. You guys are an AWESOME bunch!
I did notice that I burn through a lot more juice now than I did when I was using the spinner 2 battery. Same Aerotank MEGA, coil and 4 volts. Maybe I just love the way the juice tastes and the AWESOME hits this excellent piece of machinery produces. I got into this E-cig thing to quit spending money and have realized that with this AWESOME mod I'm spending more on juice and getting addicted to such yummy flavors..
The upside is that I don't stink of analogs and my health has improved.

My clearo tanks did not put out that much vapor on my Ego...lol we wont even go into the cig-a-like waaaay before that...anyway I think also the Provari being a much higher quality battery is more efficiently heating the coil of your topper. More vapor means more juice....LOL you have developed shinyitis! LOL, it ok. Way to go on no stinkies!!!!

Cool...you may want to check out carto tanks at some point...a carto is a little cheaper to replace than a clearo coil...or if you feel up to building... a kayfun might be great for you.

What tank are you using? I hear the aspire nautilus with bvc coils is pretty darned good too.

I'm using the kanger Aerotank MEGA tank with 2.0 coil. I've thought about the kayfuns but just don't know much about them besides the fact that some look amazingly sexy on a Provari.
Building has its own learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, is not bad...wick and wire are way cheaper....

Thank you on the tank, I'd use the glass is came with, but being a truck driver and always putting my device in my pocket I keep it somewhat bullet proof. Plus me and glass don't get along.
