Just started and everything is good

Hey,

I just started 2 weeks ago and was staying away from the analogs. Last night was the true test, went out with my GF, bar hopping in NYC, and did not even have the urge to hit a smelly, I'm now sold on vaping. Gotta hand it to the community here, been lurking, ya'll gotta good thing going! Any advice on dealing with flying I could use.

Welcome to ECF! Congrats on 2 weeks and passing the test! Just carry it when you fly and don't worry about it. vape in the airport, keep it on the down low on the plane. You'll figure it out in no time.

TSA knows about PVs , no worries. Just follow the normal rules about liquids, etc.

I just put it in the tray with my keys and have never been asked a question. The Star Dusts go in the bag with the liquids.

You can call me X, my first wife does! Lol

I carry some e-liquid in my checked bag and some with my carry on. The carry on liquid goes in a 1 quart (or smaller) zip-lock bag with my other liquids (hand sanitizer, mouth wash etc.) as per the airline regulations. I take my Star Dust off the battery while I'm in line and put it in with the liquids. Never any problems or even questions.

Been jumping for many years. Surfing since high school, too. Vaping makes everything easier, IMO.

I've been off of analogs for 3 weeks now and haven't had any issues even out at the bars. I brought my unit out for my birthday party and impressed my friends. We may have more converts shortly.

I flew on American Airlines on Sunday and asked the flight attendant about vaping on the plane and was told it was prohibited.

I know some people do it, but I wouldn't. Breaking ANY of the rules in flight these days is, IMO, not worth the risk. There's no assurance that if they caught you vaping on the plane that they would treat you any differently than someone who lit a cigarette on the plane. You might find law enforcement waiting on you at the end of your flight.

It's not worth the risk. When I was a smoker I flew without smoking, so flying without vaping is no issue for me.

Pappy, When I started smoking it was always ok back in the plane.That said I am totally in agreement with you, not worth the trouble. I asked if was ok in the BR, Someone in the know said the installed optical sensors in the bathrooms. I would not take the risk. JUst talking about vaping in the terminal. Thanks for your input. This is true. I know a TSA manager. Airlines however do not allow vaping on aircraft. Whattup baseman?
