More details would help - like what attys are they and what device are you using them on - and like are you dripping or using cartridges?. But, I'll make some assumptions and take a crack at helping you sort it out.

De-wicking an atty usually takes care of any burnt taste, unless of course, you are giving them too much voltage... in which case, give them less.

It just depends on the flavor you are using as to how difficult it is to get rid of. Some flavors go away quickly after just blowing as much juice as you can out of the atty (always blow from the connector end). Others, not so much. When a flavor is persistent, one easy thing to do is give the atty a PGA bath for a half hour or so and then blow it out and shake it a few times like a thermometer. Prime it and after the PGA vapes off (first drag or two), you should be good to go for the next flavor. I'll mention that the cheapest 100 proof vodka is usually adequate to accomplish this task as well. I have a diced pimentos jar 1/3 full of vodka that I soak my attys in for about an hour to clean them. I shake it and swirl the attys around in it a few times during that hour. Then, I just pull them out, blow them out, shake them a few times, and prime them for vaping (or sometimes I prime with unflavored VG for storage if I don't plan to use that atty again soon).

Unfalvored VG can also clear out unwanted residual flavors. Blow out the e-juice you're trying to get rid of, over-prime the atty with about twice as much unflavored as you would normally prime with ejuice. Vape it a few times to get the unflavored saturated through the mesh. Then blow out the unflavored and prime with whatever juice you are trying.

Hope that helps.
