No vapor from atty used for DIY

Hey, initially used an atomizer, but switch to dc cartomizers. Since I started DIY liquids I have the need to drip. I dripped before with my first couple of attyies and now that I'm doing DIY, my atties seem to get hot and not produce much if any vapor. I don't know if they are flooded or what, from the less consistent dripping of flavor testing... Any ideas? I often use pure PG to clear out the old flavor and blow out extra juice then put in the new test flavor. Not sure what's wrong here! Thanks

You probably need to clean it or it's getting close to it's demise. How long have you used that particular atomizer? What brand? What is the PG/VG of the juice your using?

Just need more info in order for people to help you out.

VG gives vapour but reduce flavour,
PG gives flavour but reduce vapour, and helps with throat hit.
It seems that you have mixed liquid wrong. Traditional mix is 35% VG, 65% PG.
You can also try to clean atty with water and let it dry for a day, then try to use again.
