I appreciate all the comments. Certainly a lot more to learn. I am wondering if I will need new batteries if using the 3 ohm cartomizer, as I only have the stock batts that came with the Joye 510 kit. Perhaps the 36 mg is too high...guess I will find out soon enough.....probably ordered in the middle of a hardcore crave. I know what I have now is very weak. Is there a good way to cut it w/o cutting the flavor?
In time we all learned. I bet I read threads, stickies, and anything in print for a month before I even joined. By then, I could "talk the talk" at least. I smoked for 40 years and started out at 36mg and after 4+ months am still between 24-36mg. My MAIN goal was to quit smoking. I did that on vape day #2. I will cut back on nicotine - when it happens. I just want to make sure I never desire a cigarette every again.
I almost solely use IKV cartomizers. I have used most other cartomizers and for me, IKV beats any and everything else. I get weeks and weeks out of each one. Of course, I refill them, but no big deal. For those not using or wanting to use a syringe, condom filling works quit well for me with no mess or spills. As long as I don't rush it, I can insert a cartomizer, thread down, into a condom filled with juice. As I see the juice approach the top of the carto, I just stop pushing. New ones take a bit longer since they are totally dry and will soak up a lot at first.
A low resistance carto performs on a 3.7v pv like a higher voltage pv without actually having a hv pv.
Lastly, I prefer variable voltage PV's now. It gives me the freedom to go from 3.7v to 6-7v should I desire. BUT - it is extremely rare that I EVER go over 5.5volts. My "sweet spot" seems to run around 4.6v
By the time you add up what some spend on pv's they could have bought a variable voltage(vv) mod and been done with it and not have to spend anything else on pv's unless they just plain "wanted" to.
My Buzz can be bought for $100+/-$20. I can run from 3.7 - 7.5v, so I can use L.R.(low resistance cartomizers/attys right up to high voltage ones. I have never even bought or used a high voltage carto/atty.
I wish you much luck and success....and keep reading and asking question. Before long, someone new will be asking and you will be offering assistance.
