I am just starting after being a 1.5-2ppd smoker for about 45 years.
I've been reading this forum a LOT and I've decided on an Ego. But I really don't want the bother of refilling carts. Isn't there a prefilled cartomizer that will work with an Ego? Have been researching for literally weeks and there's so much confusing info out there that I am nearly brain dead.
If anybody can recommend pre-filled cartomizers that work with the Ego and last more than a few cigarette's worth, I'd really appreciate it! Oh, and a good supplier or two!
Thanks in advance.

Good choice for a beginner. There are prefilled carts and cartomizers for 510's. For most, however, they do not taste that good, are very limited in variety and of course cost much more in the long run.

One suggestion I would make based on your smoking habit is to get e-liquid or carts in 24mg nicotine strength and possibly a few 18mg. Most new users need at least this level to make the transition. You can always "cut" it if you find you need less.

liberty-flights has good reputation, very good pricing. Their Riva 510 (an eGo clone) runs $30 for a starter kit, after using the discount code posted on their site.

I also like boge 2 ohm 510 cartos, available from liberty-flights, Nhaler, litecigusa, undoubtedly other places. Filling cartomizers is pretty simple.

I believe a few sites do sell prefilled 510 cartos, however filling your own really opens up the selection of eliquids.

Thanks for the info. I've looked at all these websites already. It's not the money that motivates me (though that will be a nice by-product), it's the fact that I *may* be developing COPD. Since I don't want to stop smoking...well you know what that means...I have come to the conclusion that vaping is my best bet.
I just want convenience. I don't think I'll go for the sweet stuff, but you never know! I am a woman, and therefore a chocoholic.
In looking at all those sites, even when a kit comes with prefilled cartos, I don't actually see them for sale. Maybe I should get out of cyberland and actually make phone calls?

I know you said you don't want to refill, but also want something that lasts all day. The ego battery will do that, but may I suggest the ego mega cartomizer. You will have to fill these but I have gone over a day without refilling. Liberty flights has them. I think they are a whole $2. Good luck and welcome to the forum!

I understand your concern and your right to be thinking about the pain of filling carts because it truly is the biggest pain and biggest turn off there is to ECigs. I recommend drip tips and direct dripping. Its as easy as a lighter was to your cigarette and Its the least hassle with the best results. I think cartos are cool but I try to avoid vaping particulates at all cost and for me its not worth the risk of vaping the filler that most certainly always degrades and burns in the cartos. At the end of the day direct dripping is the easist way to vape. There's no waiting for wicking. There's no worries of vaping it dry and burning up the filler. There's no burnt filler flavor contamination possibility. There's no money wasted on cartos. There's no taking a time out to fill them.

I'm sorry to have not answered your question. I just hope to persuade you to a side of vaping you may not fully have researched yet. If anything the new Ego Tank system would appear to be the better alternative to Cartos.

Although I agree that it's too easy to refill these things (and thereby choose any flavor you like) to not even look into it, I did find this site selling prefilled 510 cartos (that'll work on your eGo):
510 Pre-Filled Cartomizers [510-Carto] - $1.79 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid

since they don't seem to be a forum supplier and I've never purchased from them, I also found this thread where people are talking about them:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reviews-suppliers/82483-value-vapor-gets-star.html

Plus, just in case you change your mind, here's a video showing how easy it can be to refill cartomizers:

also: eGo-Tank system is getting great reviews with very few exceptions. It might be just the ticket for you: no carts, no cartomizers, no fussy filling material, no hassle of dripping, no mess -- here's the video review w/ instructions:
YouTube - eGo-T Tank System Review

If you already have the eGo, all you need to buy is the special atomizer and some tanks:
eGo-T(Tank) Atomizer
eGo-T(Tank) Cartridge

OR, you could try the "clearomizer" -- it's a cartomizer with no filler material in it, therefor no chance of burning filler:
FLüXomizer™ 510 Clearomizer : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

With the clearomizer you'll want a syringe to fill it with though (probably want one if you get the tank too btw): FLüXomizer Fill Syringe [gotvapes-syringe1ml] - $1.29 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Rosa,

GREAT info! Thanks.
I have to say I'm still feeling overwhelmed by all the choices out there. I'm willing to pay well for a good product and not have the problems I've read about by some who went the "cheap as possible" route. This is my health we're talking about here, and either way, it's going to less expensive (even if not less convenient) than analogs.

It would be nice to order everything from one site, but from what I'm seeing, I'll need to mix and match a couple of things from different sites. That's ok. It's just confusing, ya know?

Onward and upward! I WILL make the decision today! Well, maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe...

Well, I DID it! I ordered an EGO kit from Liberty Flights. (I thought they had a USA office, but I guess not). Got a couple of Tank carts just for future use, and now I'm going to get some of those prefilled cartos.

I'm psyched! Feel like today is the first day of the rest of my life kind of feeling.
Thanks again for everyone's input!!

I'm new too and have the ego t. day 3 for me. I smoked 7 analogs first day, 3 the next, today is day 1 with none. I don't plan on ever having another. I was a heavy smoker and have been tinkering with flavours a bit. if you are a heavy smoker like me, get something with bite. I keep going back to this original concoction. the weaker stuff I found I went through more liquid even though it had the same nic content. felt like smoking a light or ultra light cigarette to me. I wanted more right away. I went through about 3ml yesterday. I'm sure that will change as my tastebuds come back, as others with experience have told me... the ego battery lasts me all day though which is awesome.

They do have a US office:
E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings
Look in the upper left corner and you click the 20% off button with the US flag... I bet you can fix it if you e-mail them right away (happens all the time). :)

There are some prefilled 510 cartomizers here. Cartomizer screws on instead of the atty and cart.
http://www.liquidxpress.com/Xpress-510-Cartomizers-c9/

You can also get a 510 battery to KR808D-1 cartomizer adapter (may be called 510 to 808) and use the prefileld cartos at Vapor4Life.com (lots of flavors including many 5-flavor samplers). Here is one - in the dropdown pick 510 to 808D-1
Thread Adaptors

I recommend adding juice to cartos to get longer use out of them. I have been using the same V4L carto for 4 days, adding some juice whenever it lags a bit at making vapor.

They ship from California, but the company may be based overseas and thus may be charging from an overseas address.

They are fairly new in business--a few months-- and have prices like the China suppliers except they only charge you $3 shipping instead of $15 or more. And you don't have to sign for the shipment.

By the way, my shipment came priority mail in two days from California which cost them at least $5. So they are losing money on the shipping !
