Ok, after the lengthy post that was my introduction, I should talk about my new rig. Like I mentioned several of the guys on the ship are using giant variable voltage rigs that look and work amazingly but I am one of those that always overindulges before I know if it is something I will stick to or not, so in a hurculean effort instead of going strait to one of those types of battery setups I found some constraint and instead I went with the following setup. First I suppose you should know that I knew right away I wanted a tank/cartomizer setup, would have preferred variable voltage (didnt get the twist yet because for now I am starting with only one battery and wanted a passthrough to prevent analog smoking if my bat goes dead), and a drip tip.

Joye eGo-C Upgrade Passthrough 900mAh
510 DCTank Combo - 6 ml - 1.5Ω/ohm
510 DCTank Combo - 3.5 ml - 1.5Ω/ohm
Delrin Drip Tip.

As for liquids, I have three that I purchased from a brick and mortar around the corner, two I love and one I bought for the wife just before she told me she doesnt think she will be vaping and that if I make the attempt to quit analog she will get the patch. I bought three others from my freedom smokes (after reading some reviews here) all tobacco flavored two of which are pipe tobacco flavored and one is their version of the RY4.

Hopefully everything gets here on monday while I am stuck on the ship and I will drop the analog by the weekend. Let me know what you think of this setup for someone just entering the ecig / vaping scene.

You can either get the Smok Tech 1.7 XL single coil cartos or the Boge cartos. I prefer the ST 1.7 on my Don and Kgo 3.7 volt PVs. DC are meant for higher voltage devices. As you said it's a starter and you prolly upgrade soon enough. Great choice of PV IMO.
Good Luck

Edit: Understand though both Boge and ST are having QC issues. Supposedly they have or are close to resolving the issue.

Vapoor - I had thought about that, and will pick up one or two from the brick and mortar once the other stuff comes in that way I can compare the two and see how / which setup I like the best. Thanks for the tip though, one of your other posts mentioning the single coils was actually why I had been thinking about buying both.

Correct me if I am wrong but the reason I want the singles is because I need lower Ohms since I am using a lower voltage battery? Along with the different cartos what mix of Pg/Vg should I be running? The B&M store nearby has mostly 50/50 stuff but will mix anything I want. My understanding for that is VG is sweeter and Thicker so can lead to clogs where PG is less sweet, thinner, and has a stronger TH. Also was told that one produced a dryer vapor while the other was thicker and slightly more moist but dont remember which was which.

You want a single coil in a standard battery because even though it is a total load of 1.5Ω it is two 3Ω coils together. The vapor output is likely to be just soso to wimpy on a 3.4v eGo......A single coil 2Ω-1.7 Ω would perform very well on your chosen battery. Lots of warm vapor.

Thicker richer vapor Is VG at the expense of that kick in the back of your throat. PG would have better flavor definition and be a little drier feeling with less overall amount of vapor output. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 15%
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like
VG= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG. I vape 70/ 30 PG/ VG but used to vape 60/ 40.
Cartos in a tank before starting to tight draw last me:
light juice= 2 weeks (80-90 ml)
dark juice= 1 week (50-60 ml)

First fill of a carto is VERY IMPORTANT and will determine the longevity of the carto whether in a tank or alone. Key in the vif below is to push carto down into condom of juice very slowly. When filled it should be grey and slushie. When it begins to turn white drip a few drops in the top. Different cartos= diff size- 20 drops= approx. 1 ml.
