Why do I have such mixed emotions about the song "Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel?
I've been hearing this song a lot recently on the radio, on friends playlists, at supermarkets and Walgreens. Now I can't shake the song and it haunts me.

The lyrics are so simple but right on target. This is what spooks me. I could never imagine myself saying these things to anyone which is more a sign of possible immaturity on my part than lack of words. Or perhaps I've never been "in love" enough to utter these words:
