Just Took My First Few Hits.....SOOOO Buzzed!

I just tried out my 901 for the first time and I used a cherry cartridge "low" nic. My first impression was that it tasted much better than an analog cig (I've never been a huge fan of the 'taste' of a cigarette). I didn't get alot of vape, which I would have liked more of but I think this is something that can be corrected with time?!

I took 4 puffs, hits, whatever you call them and OMG I was so completely buzzed I had to stop. I can't even imagine what the 'high' nic carts would do....

One question though, do I leave the cart attached to the e-cig until I want to use it again, or do I need to put the cap back on and store is separately?

I would leave the cart attached. I don't know how often you are planning on using your ecig, but I would go NUTS if I had to fumble with those little caps all day. And I hate getting the stuff on my hands.

It will also keep your atomizer moist that way for what it's worth.

You do have a bottle of e-liquid to top off your carts, right?

Yes, I did purchase a bottle of JC Peach Cobbler "low" nic - but after the buzz I got from the "low" cart, I'm afraid to add the juice to the cart because wouldn't it give me an even bigger buzz

Hehe alrighty. No actually the only reason I asked is because if all I had was a couple prefilled carts and no liquid, I guess I'd be a lot more careful about leaving them exposed to the air. (Just while I was waiting for my liquid.) So you're in good shape.

Seriously, we're just having fun. My sister had a headrush the first time she took a puff off her DSE901. I had loaded it with a low nic cartridge, and I hate to think what would have happened had there been anything higher on it. Probably would have picked her up off the floor.

Frankly, I don't understand it. I guess I was a smoking fiend, because I've never gotten even remotely lightheaded except for the time when I picked up an analog after having put them down for several days . . . got totally dizzy, probably from the carbon dioxide . . . or is it carbon monoxide? Whatever it was, it was enough to get me to sit down (and then swear off the cancer sticks for good).

lol...... what type of anolog cig did you used to smoke...you get used to the stregnth after a while .... a good buzz tho aint it...

im not new to vaping but i am new to the forum how do you post a question im having problems with my 901 atomizer the bat stays on for a while and the atomizer gets realy hot im woried it will burn out ive lost one atomizer to this already.....Vap on!!!!!!!!

Mine does this sometimes, too. I watch the LED like a hawk - when it stays lit, I pull the battery off the atomizer real fast.... Then I blow in the LED side of the battery, a long, slow steady pressure - this unsticks the switch, and it's ok for a while again...

Another suggestion is to take a straightened paper clip wrapped in a tissue - carefully stick the end in the atomizer side of the battery and gently clean it out.

Oh ya I had a good buzz my first day too. Had a real stupid feeling for about two days. Keep your dosage down low and give yourself a cppl drops of higher when you crave that analog. Least thats what I do. I haven't touched my analogs since day two of vaping. I even leave a pack right out in the open where I am most of the day, kind of a temptation. I would have never considered myself to have this much willpower either. Love my Pilot/Evo

The DSE901's are good starter ecigs. I've heard mixed results on the Janty Dura's and Dura C's, but good results on the Kissbox Classics.

Juices: Lots of rave reviews about Puresmoker's Cash line, Johnson Creek (but some flavors are better than others) and Totally Wicked.

It really depends on what you want. Price, style, customer service, quick shipping, etc...

I am a Lightweight, apparently . I have smoked a pack a day of Marlboro Ultra Lights 100's for the past 10+ years and Virginia Slim Ultra Lights 100's prior to that (a total of 23, almost 24 years now). I seriously didn't expect a buzz like that but I'm happy that I didn't start with the High or even the Medium.

I need to buy some PG so that I can top off my cart with that and hopefully I will get better vapor results....just need to find a place where I can buy it

LOL, I'm on day 3 with my Njoy Npro, and the first time I hit it, I had a good buzz also. I also had the lowest cart in. Kinda makes me wonder if I'll get addicted to this worst than analogs.

BTW, I'm on the highest cart today. LOL

Wow, from low to high in just a few days? Maybe it's just the initial intake of nic via a different dispensing method that gives the first time user a buzz?

I'm a little afraid to try it again as I felt kinda funky for a few hours. Not like an OD, just bizarre (like the first time I smoked my first analog, only the analog effect was much worse).

Anyone know how I can make more vapor until I can find the straight PG? I called the Walgreens pharmacy and got the spanish inquistion...final answer was no they don't have it and no I cannot order it)

My 901 was literally just barely vaping when I tried it hours ago. I want the 'smoke blowing' sensation - that to me would be satisfying.

Yea I was a 2 pack a day smoker of Marlboro lights. I work up March 9th and said that I was done with these analogs. Boy I just didn’t know how hard it was going to be. I went to Wal-Mart and picked up the 21mg patches, few bags of candy, sunflower seeds and a few packs of gum. Spent about $80.00. Anyway, I started reading these forums that same day and kelp reading until I picked up my first E-cig started kit on March 13th. So that’s 4 and a ½ days without smoking. I go outside with the boys and take a few puffs off of this thing, everyone was like WOW that is so cool so we are laughing and joking around when I was like damn I really got a buzz off of this. I was like you and felt just different the rest of the day. One part was guilt for starting “smoking/vapping” again and the other was because I haven’t had anything going into my body that fast in a few days. So today, I forgot to put on the patch before leaving for work, so I put in the high cart and still get a little buzz after a few puffs but that when I know It’s time to get it a rest for that section.

But, like smoking or medication, you will build up a tolerance for what level you’re putting in. You just have to be smart enough not to over do it.

OK I'm done now, sorry for putting everyone to sleep. LOL

If you want more vapor i'd go with VG instead of PG. I got mine from a local health food store.
