Just tried my new 510

Hey all! got my 510 today and let it charge for 8 hours (damn near killed me knowing it was right there but needed to let it charge). Well my first impression was that it was definitely worth the wait! Hits good with a nice throat hit. It produces a lot of vapor too! My only problem with it is that I sometimes got a slight metalic taste but I've heard that it can take a day to break in the atomizer (also might not have been giving it enough time for the juice to "wick").

I've been a vaper for a while with a KR808D and was happy with it for a while but had some issues. It didn't always produce great vapor or taste. It worked good with new pre-filled cartridges although taste had a weird metallic taste. But I wanted something that I could refill and although I could refill it vapor/taste performance dropped rapidly. I also wanted to try dripping cuz I've heard so many great things about it :)

Anyway I can tell this was a good buy. I'll probably write a review/comparison between my two models once I've gotten to know my 510 a little better!

O! I'm also excited to try some of my more fruity juices that I didn't like too much with my KR808D cuz the taste didn't come through well/at all.

Fairly new to vaping, but have learned quickly that the slight metallic taste means i'm running dry and time for a couple drips. I would notice it a lot quicker when using carts with the poly fill vs. dripping or blue foam in the carts due to the poly fill getting pushed down in the cart a bit and not wicking properly. I think you will really like dripping, I have not touched a cart since I tried dripping. I just received some T-tips from Super t manufacturing that you can drip through so that you do not have to remove the tip every time you are ready to drip, they are awesome. I notice a bit more flavor and much better vapor when dripping, much more enjoyable. 2 or 3 drips seems to last me about as long as an analog would. Also, if you have note done so yet, make sure you blow all of the primer out of those new attys.
