Hi all. Just wanted to introduce myself after lurking around for a week or so. Been trying to take in some info and learn as much as possible. What a great place for such things too!

I was a pack a day smoker for almost 20 years. I tried to quit so many times and all different methods to no avail. So I'm pleased to say that I've not had an analog in 10 days since I started using my m401. It's the longest I've ever gone without since I started smoking. Thing is that it doesn't even bother me, and couldn't care less if I ever smoke another analog.

Now my bigger addiction seems to be that I can't stop buying vaping paraphernalia. :) I just ordered a Boge LEO that should be here soon. I can't wait to try it. Still looking for some good juice. I'm using some menthol right now that is ok from the site I ordered my original kit. I had ordered a sample kit from johnson creek, but didn't care for the flavoring too much. Now I'm awaiting some vanilla juice from BWB.

So I hope to learn more about this great new hobby of ours, and make some new friends.

Take care.

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on giving up those cigs. Don't give up, you will find many juices that you like and a few that you will just love. Is all trial and error since everyone's tastes are different. I have heard good things about bwb, hopefully you have good luck with that one. Glad you decided to join in and don't hesitate on asking any questions that come up, there are always people here willing to help. Happy holidays and happy vaping!!!

Hi, and welcome to ECF, Mobius! Congratulations on your 10 days, it'll only get easier from here. I'm right along with you on your new addiction. Just got a box of new juice and cartos today, and stuff for hubby to build me a PT. More stuff on the way soon. That "money saved" thing on my siggie is misleading. If OldSoldier and I ever *stop* buying stuff for our pv's, then we might actually start saving money once spent on the nasty-stix. Dang that's a big IF....

Welcome to the forums. An interesting thing to point out concerning your search for the perfect juice. Sometimes those juices need some time to reach their peak of flavor. Like you, I ordered several trials looking for "the one". Most of the juices I got I didn't really like, but there were a few I liked immediately. Recently I decided to revisit all those juices I didn't like at first. To my amazement, I discovered that there were several gems in my stash! It has been a lot of fun!

Welcome and glad to have you here.

Yes, after you get your PV, then juice becomes your next quest.
I order from several vendors, small sizes, and love some, hate some.
I also mix a couple different juices to get a entirely different flavor as well.
My collection...is growing!

and I agree with another post here, some need "steeping" to bring out the flavor.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Welcome Mobious. Congrats on 10 days! You took to this very quickly and like me was one of the lucky ones to be able to ditch the smokes immediately. I was a smoker for 28 years and tried everything. I also get the feeling you will soon be in a very similar boat as me------ Many Many vaping gear orders. This has turned into a hobby for me and it started by not wanting to be without a batt, atty, juice etc so I would never be tempted to pick up a smoke again. Now I just reward myself with cool stuff for making milestones since if I didn't buy another thing I could go almost two years. Enjoy the new found hobby and Merry Christmas!

Welcome!

I suggest that you enable receipt of PMs. I attempted to answer a question you asked me about cleaning the Leo, but was unable to do so. [I don't like using my personal e-mail account for ECF correspondence.]

I hadn't realized that couldn't use pm's yet. I'm sorry about the e-mail. I just assumed it was like a pm. If you would, maybe you could answer in this thread. Thanks Don and all the others for the warm welcome. Merry Christmas!
