I've been trying to vape on my Vision CE5 Clearo on an eGo and I'm getting hardly any vapor and it's burning my chest on the exhale. I've had this same juice in the clearos before and didn't have his problem. The flavor is there and the TH is there, but after the exhale it just burns. Is my atty head going bad or ??? I'm only a month into vaping, so I'm a little clueless. The juice I'm using is 80PG/20VG, but it produces a lot more vapor in a carto. The tank is over half full, I've made sure my wicks stay wet... Help!?

When's the last time you changed your clearo? They need to be ditched now and then. I usually get about a week sometimes 2 out of a disposable. The ones with replaceable heads usually last me 2 weeks maybe a little less depending on how much I use it. Carto's give me 4 days to a week before needing a new one.

Some juices makes things age at different paces. This is where a VV comes in handy. You could just add a couple of tenths' of volts and it should be fine. Clean and dry burn. If they still taste crappy then move on. Get some more heads and don't throw the used ones out cause you can and will rebuild them in the near future. I look forward to your video reviews as you get more time under your belt.

I want to second that a CE5 is a changeable head it sounds like it is time to change the head. Take out the old one rinse and dry it and stick it in a baggie. The CE5 heads are super easy to rebuild and a great place to start with rebuilding when you are ready. If you never find yourself ready I am sure there are people here on ECF that would love to have your old dead CE5 heads as spare parts for their own rebuilding efforts.

WHat juice you have been using as well as what voltage you are running through it BOTH affect how long the head on a CE5 will last. When it starts not performing well rinse it and dry burn it then RINSE IT AGAIN to get the ash off. If that doesn't fix it replace the head.

All the above.

Some (most? all?) the CE5s I've used have a small sleeve around the coil, deep down inside the head. I think it's fiberglass, but may be silica mat. I've had them either char or soak up the carmelized / burnt juice, and dry burning doesn't seem to clean this part. So if dry burning doesn't help, and you don't have a brand new head on hand (tsk, tsk, MUST have backups! :p), see if you can work it out using a straight pin or whatever fits. I suppose it's there to minimize the chance of the coil shorting out to the sleeve, and you do want to make sure that doesn't happen, but it may get rid of the bad taste.

When I rebuild, I leave it out - making sure the coil is centered and not shorted, of course - and have had no problems with it missing.
