I always wanted to try a juul so I bought a new one for $9... I tried to charge last night it and the light only flashes green 5 times and shuts off. Is it defective?

Try cleaning the contacts on both.

$9 juul = very old juul = battery discharged below a voltage that the chip will allow to charge from.

They replaced it. At first they claimed it was fully charged. Made them open a another to prove it was defective.

Now the wait for the refillable pods...

They are so stealth, but finicky.. The battery in mine slides back and forth a little in the outside sleeve preventing charging or contact to the pod.. Might want to grab a few if you like them considering they stopped making them I hear..

The ban was lifted they are back in production and based on how many I see flooding stores.. I dont think they are going anywhere. Unfortunate because IMO JUUL is the biggest reason why the govt. hates Vape.

Altria owns 35% share in Juul. Altria is the parent company of Philip Morris USA (producer of Marlboro cigarettes).

You might want to google "how to refill Juul pods" and give it a try. It's pretty easy to refill a normal pod. I've heard some people say they refill one five or six times. I usually refill once using a NET, thinking even a single refill cuts the cost of the pods in half.
