Hello guys...hate to open up a thread every time I have a question. My k-go battery has bitten the dust in approx 31 days...is this unusual for one of these batteries to die that quickly? Also...does any one know what the cheapest mod is...I rather have a casing with a disposable battery than a ego, kgo etc.

What were you running on it? One guy killed two Egos recently with Cisco 1.5 ohm atomizers. One member said 1.5ohm is a bit over the edge for the circuits in most mass-produced Ego-type (sealed in a shell) batteries and that cold weather can actually increase the problem.

I've looked at E-power - it seems sort of huge for me. I have plastic box mods (not real sturdy but functional). The BB at Altsmoke is one you might want to look at (also bigger and fatter than an Ego/Kgo but may be smaller than Vgo).

Here - browse through the the ecig mods database and "Browse by feature" is very handy

And Super-T Manufacturing is a good place for batteries and chargers - I bought some batteries and they arrived super fast

Custom Mods and then go to e-bay for batts & charger(if you need them) :2c: my 2 cents !!

This member Windwalker who commented in this thread - I think he said 1.7 was OK. 1.5 was pushing it, especially in cold weather.

Sorry about your battery. My plan is backups. I have 3 or more batteries each for my slim models, 3 Ego-style batteries (2 3.7v Riva 510 ones and a 3-voltage Ego clone), 2 box mods - 3 actually including the bottom feeder (and all 3 use the same 14500 batteries), I have 4 14500 batteries, 2 charging cables for every model I own plus one at work, 2 mod battery chargers. And when I go out I bring more than one model with me.

I have never had a battery die that fast. My rivas and egos have all lasted 6 months +. I had a couple pass-through batteries die but they were replaced by LF. Contact the vendor, see what they say.

Thank you...my warranty was 30 days...I am not going to use that type pv...I will wait to get another mod...I still have the sb and 1 more k-go...thank you so much

Bummer. You have a bad battery. 31 days is ridiculous. The vendor gets replacements for bad batteries. It only costs them shipping to you to replace it. Even though you're at day 31 the authentic KGO sellers prolly would switch out the bad batt. Worth a try. My KGO is strong after 7 months. Hope you get it worked out.

Vgo is like Kgo, Riva, Ego - not a mod

I think BB is looks cute and simple oh you have Silver Bullet. BB is its baby

But if you are going to use 1.5 ohm you probably want something bigger. BB only has a 14500 battery (or 14650 if they get the extender in stock).

14500 protected is 900mah and SW IMR which holds the voltage up better is 600mah. So with an AW IMR and 1.5 ohms you might only get 2-3 hours of vaping if you are a heavy vaper

Do you own a PT yet? A PT will let you vape off AC (w/ a 2amp USB to AC adapter). And the kind with an inline battery is the battery's voltage (3.4 or 3.7) and it charges the battery while you vape it.
