Yup, from 1.5-3.0 ohm atty/cartos/ce2/etc.
Have i killed a battery, yup, several, some last a short time some last a long time but in the end the mosfet fails. Ive yet to have the actual battery fail.
From clones to genuine, from 650mAh to 1300mAh, at one given point they all fail, some just have better "luck" as to how long until they do.
I now dont waste my time with ego styles, Epower seems to be holding up with anything i
throw on it...
Im aware others are still going strong after 6+ months to years but there are too many factors to take into account. And im also aware that alot of these ego designs have failed, majority after using LR cartos or attys(more so the attys).
I personally believe LR is hard on mosfets when you take the specs into account.
The mosfet chips are rated at 2 amps, when using a 3x volt ego sytle and running 2 or under ohms, can draw more then the 2 amp limit which stresses it. Majority of the failures out there imo are from attys that drop too low in resistance (1-1.4 ohm) and that is a super draw that fries the mosfet chips.
Worst thing is ppl kill the battery with a certain atty then go ahead and put the same atty on another battery and kill it instantly too...that sucks.
Digital multimeter ftw! Check it before ya wreck it.
