Actually when I fell asleep last night I had no intention of spending money on e-cigs today...

Yesterday was a long day and I wound up falling asleep watching a movie.
I woke up this morning to find my fully charged 18650 still on my Trustfire TR-001 charger.

Well, I've read enough on this forum to know that it's not good to leave bats charging this way.
I currently have no way of checking battery voltage either, so I just unplugged the battery and put it in its case.

Knowing this will probably happen again I go into buying mode and purchase a new charger (xtar WP2-II) and a pair or AW 14500 protected bats. (The bats are for a mod I am going to buy when a production run completes)
I also bought a multimeter while I was at it.

Feeling a little more at ease, i am surfin around looking at 801 drip tips, because I don't like the plastic whistle tips that cam on my iKenvape atomizers. I surf over to smoktek.com who have Delrin tips at a decent price and I notice they have 14500 box mods for $22! SmokTek "SmokBox" - Custom 3.7 volt Box Mod - A Personal Vaporizer with Power!
It didn't take me long to add that to cart, since I have bats already on order.
I was about ready to check out when I noticed the one thing I forgot on my previous order. (LiPo Safety Charging Bag)
Plopped it into cart, and checked out.

Who knows....
The cheap box mod may wind up being my work vaporizer when my KGO bats wear out....

A box mod is a great investment, and nobody ever mistakes it for you smoking a real cigarette...:) The charging bag is good insurance for the price. There's a couple good sites for information, from a simple Battery FAQ or for more information about batteries that you ever thought existed........Battery University

Yep.....
Pretty sure it'll draw less attention then my Silver Bullet with tank attached! :p

I've made several of those for personal use, costs me about 5$ to make one like that one. 35-50$ to make one with an OKR switching regulator for a great VV box mod depending on what additional features are added.
Here is a better price for that little one than Smoktech
3.7V Box Mod with Black Horn Switch

Lol....
Actually I checked Madvapes, but wasn't awake enough.
I saw the other box mod there that looks the same for $4 more

Looks like the only difference is the color of the switch and the SmokTek one can be ordered "stealth" (no led) as I did.
Anyway, I am not gonna cry over $2.....

Still waiting to see how I feel vaping from a plastic box.....

A little thing to watch out for with that box. The trustfire flames work great. Be careful if you want to upgrade to IMR batteries. They must be nipple top bats like AW IMR's. The flat top IMR's will not make contact.

Good to know.....

These are the batteries that I have coming. (They should be fine shouldn't they?)

would be wrong if you use this: magnet spacer (6x2mm)

No-No wouldn't fit anyway (bat slot isn't long enough). The problem is the way the box itself is constructed. The + terminal is a little recessed because of the plastic slot that holds the terminal in place. So the flat surface of a magnet wouldn't make contact even if it would fit.

BTW, you guys made me dig out one of my old boxes and stick a Stardust on it. Vapes just as good as the big boys
