K-go & go crazy

I've been doing this over and over again the last few months (because I didnt want to have to come here and make an entire thread of it!) ... I go to buy my man a k-go, ego-v type deal. I read that they are *basically* the SAME exact thing. Is that true?

Whats confusing me is this ... I have seen the kgo for $40, and I've just seen it for $8, lol. I mean, I know there are serious price differences, since Ive been doing this for a little while now, but that is just unreal! so I know I'm missing something. A lot of the descriptions dont give me the info I want/need, or maybe they DO but it just appears they dont because Im not finding what I'm looking for? I *thought* the k-go was a type of battery that is:
~an ego
~V.V
~6.0 V capabilities
~variable wattage
~can buy 11-1200, or 1300 for the MEGA

Is there such thing as NON-variable voltage or non variable wattage Kgos? I thought thats what made it a Kgo! So if thats true ... then the $8 is maybe a reg, no vv or vw ... and maybe the $40 has all of those qualities?

Oh, and can anyone tell me where u can find it for the cheapest? I'm talking abt the vv vw one Thanks!

When I buy kGo...I always get them here. And this isn't a bad price on a 1300 mAh VV/VW kGo. KGO VV2 1300mAh Generally Brent's prices on kGos are around the best, and he's a great vendor I've dealt with for two years and have always gotten good CS.

EDIT Oh yeah...and yes. You can get non VV type kGos at Hoosier's too. They are "unregulated" meaning they start out at 4.1v and deplete some as the battery wears down. They last well, and seem well built. I did have one die on me...but it was nearly 2 years old and heavily used (and leaked on)...so I guess that's no surprise. I also have one that I've had about the same length of time that is still going strong (it didn't get leaked on...I moved to carto tanks and that saved the day for my stuff).
