Thanks RatInDaHat.
Yeah, I am interested in the Kiss Janty also. I sent in some questions thru the ruyanexpress website:
1) about the lack of a descriptive comparison betw the Classic & the Yentl;
2) about the availabilty of US standard plugs with starter kit and
3) about waiting until June when they might have a full inventory and the corrected USB cable (read there was a problem on one of the forums).

Hi jimldk:

Thank you so much for a great review on the KissBox. I appreciate your time and effort. Because of it, this morning I ordered two classic KissBoxes, platinum. I live in California, USA. Do you have any idea of when I might receive them? And are you still enjoying yours? Any suggestions on the what-to-do's and/or what-not-to-do's for the best vaping experience one can have when using these new KissBoxes?

Marian

It is only a short review Marian..but It is really better than those from Njoy( a bit pricier too)...My second day of using the device is still consistently good and just like new...It is the consistency that we want..and Janty is providing me with it...

Normally it takes 2 weeks to arrive from shipping date...I 'm not sure how long it takes to reach USA though...sorry can't help much there.... :|

The best thing to do with this Janty....??.....Just sit back and enjoy because there is nothing need to be done... ;)

My KISS Box just arrived  Now I have to wait until the batteries are charged

When I first opened it up - I have to admit I was in awe. The Classic looks very classy and seems to be of high quality - none of my e-cigs that I have purchased come close to looking this good. So far I am very impressed by the looks alone.

Will update as soon as I can use it.

Well..How is it???....I didn't wait at all in fact when it arrived yesterday......plug in an Njoy Battery to test out the atomiser..and I knew straight from the first draw it is excellent!!.....
Day 2....It is getting stronger....I am very surprised by it rate of maturity...faster than any others so far.....taste stays and lots more smoke than yesterday...It matures within a day!!..the acid test continues...I'm gonna "abuse it totally" to see how it hold up....
So far I have no need to clean it or do the normal"get more smoke out of this darn thing routine"...it works fine on it's own...Another High marks for it!!

Latest input....It(the Janty atomiser) works extremely well with my previous USB e-cig ...superb compatibility!!!

Have you tried it with it's ówn batteries and usb-wire yet? From what I read on the dutch forums, that should bring a better experience then interchanging any part with parts from other devices (in fact they even warn that doing that might kill one or the other part; and at least will bring big risk of far lesser working).
So if you find it allready working well, and haven't tried all it's own parts... then it might be an even more awesome experience that way. :D :D

hey jimldk, that was exactly a point when i try to compare the JANTY Classic and JANTY KIssbox Classic.
i think the good quality of vapor and performing mostly coming from the quality of atomizer and well made cartridges and e-liquid.
of cause with the KISSBOX we are getting more option with manual switch and probably battery more safe with the separation.
but the question is if it really almost twice better (proportionally to price ;) )
ok, i was little bit disappointed with the build quility of USB -its stil did not work properly-hope the new one arrive soon.

and when you point the superb design of JANTY KISSBOX Classic- I have to say that the Janty Classic had a very good build design -nice mat color with the stripes ;-)
but on JANTY KISSBOX Classic one detail is realy asking for correction-its a cheap plastic at the end of the battery, its no need there (no led), so its could be metal or harder plastic. details make the design good. hope Janty will correct it in future :)

Noted Bro..the plastic cap at the end looks ..ahem..cheap for a device this classy....But if you compared the price for an original RuyanV8..it is still cheaper and I would dare to say better performance....

The USB Janty provided is a bit finicky to work on but mine works well...my e-cig USB match it perfectly and better smoke production considering that not all Njoy devices can use the e-cig USB because of thread differences..and if the atomiser is not primed to work properly , it just doesn't work with any form of power supply.... but not this Janty.

Unfortunately , I don't have any earlier models from Janty itself to compared to this new Janty..but I compared it to all my Njoy and E-cig products and it stood out like a rose among thorns and not just cosmetically...It is the better option for a beginner to use because it's reliability will help to curb the nicotine craving efficiently...rather than an on and off performing device which in the end will cause a loss of confidence and relapse of smoking.

If all the devices in the current market can give at least 90% efficiency, we will see a sudden turn around of GDP for the Tobacco and Pharmaceutical companies ....but it will be ..in near future , I hope that most e-devices makers will make better and more efficient models..a complete Revolution in our Era....I'm praying for that..

So far, I did try smoking with my USB cable, attached to computer and unattached using the charged USB battery.

I was quite impressed by the consistency of the smoke. I do not like the fact that the USB cable not that long – it does need to be longer.

While smoking with the USB battery alone, using the manual switch, the smoke was consistent and refreshing, just like jimldk said, lots of vapour production and very flavourful, at first.

Now let me see if I can explain the problem I ran into:

After an hour or so, I could only get a puff or two, on the USB battery, with the manual switch.

I found if I removed the atomizer from the manual switch and placed it back on - I could get another puff or two of smoke. I do not know if this was because of the USB battery slowly dying or not.

I tried smoking with the automatic switch and the smoke volume was down but I could still smoke.

I then tried removing the manual switch from the battery instead of removing the atomizer but it would not produce smoke, only if I removed the atomizer from the manual switch and put it back on, would it produce a puff or two.

Yes, I did try a fresh battery, the kind we get from dealextreme, (ultra fire 10440) but still ran into the same problem.

However, this morning when I used the charged battery (16 hours) for 20 minutes of smoking – the manual switch worked great. No problems whatsoever. Also the automatic switch worked just as great.

So maybe it was the USB cable and USB battery that is not working correctly. Anyway, I sent Ruyanexpress an email explaining the above and asking what the problem could be, so when I get a response I will post it.

I seem to enjoy the manual switch more than the automatic. With the manual switch the draw is very soft and easy. With the automatic switch it seems to need more sucking power.

Will update later today on how it is doing.

I sent an email asking about the differences between the Classic and the Yentl. Here is their reply, "We believe the Classic gives more smoke and effect than the yentl, which we consider a secondary version (more like a gadget)."

I have tried using a shortened Njoy cartridge(just cut by 2mm off the Njoy cartridge) and the mouthpiece just barely able to fit in albeit a bit tight BUT wonder will never cease....Lots of vapor...lots!!.and it also brings out the flavor too,for the first time the regular flavor from Njoy really taste like tobacco ...compatibility with a bit of change...brilliant!!

And I discover another thing...there is still a timer on the manual switch..press more than 3 seconds..the battery will cut-off to prevent the atomiser from overheating..Very good..ingenious!!...thumbs up to the maker of this device... ;)

i was reading a dutch forum, and it seems that jaunty have something new in the pipeline which isnt related to cartridges or the kissbox, according to their representative on that forum...they say they are "continuing to develop new things"(they say thats their mission statement),with "a few other inventions hatching"-and quite soon apparently...i wonder what it is--a new cig, liquid,a usb cigar, better battery-or something truly revolutionary?who knows..i hope its not something trivial, but its all very cryptic at present(and hard to understand fully anyway due to lousy translation) ;) .i also get the impression that their manual switch idea will be commonplace soon on other brands,so its nice to see that they are determined to stay ahead of the game, and indeed help push it forward.good news for all of us really,in our quest for the ultimate device-the holy grail of e-smoking,if you will...from reading these other forums reviews,it seems like the kissbox is a good start, but far from perfect.i hope theres real progress soon...
