K100 firing button

The button will go all the way with no battery in it. With a battery in there the end of the button hits the bottom of the battery to make contact and close the circuit and the button does not go all the way in.

Not firing is another issue. The circuit is not being made somewhere. I would look at the center post in the 510 connection. It floats, so it can be pushed down by the device you put on top of it. See if what you have on it sits flush with the top of the K100. If it does I would take it off and gently push on the post from the inside of the K100 in an attempt to move the post towards the top. I have not had to do this, so I have no experience doing this. Be gentle with it and go slow.

If this is not the issue look at the other contact surfaces.
