K100 firing button

My K100 just went out today The firing button only goes halfway, when I press it. I've just took it a part and the button goes all the way when I don't have the battery in it, but when I put the battery back in it, it just goes halfway, so I can't fire. Whats up with that?

I think you have the telescope down too far, try loosing it up a by. my wife noticed that too, mine went down all the way and hers didn't.

Tried that but it still doesn't fire

The button will go all the way with no battery in it. With a battery in there the end of the button hits the bottom of the battery to make contact and close the circuit and the button does not go all the way in.

Not firing is another issue. The circuit is not being made somewhere. I would look at the center post in the 510 connection. It floats, so it can be pushed down by the device you put on top of it. See if what you have on it sits flush with the top of the K100. If it does I would take it off and gently push on the post from the inside of the K100 in an attempt to move the post towards the top. I have not had to do this, so I have no experience doing this. Be gentle with it and go slow.

If this is not the issue look at the other contact surfaces.

Thanks Ryedan, I think it's the 510 connection. Tried pushing the connector like you said but it doesn't budge, guess I just got to wait for my mechs I ordered to come in. Back to the Tesla

I might be having the same issue. I bought one used recently and it worked fine with the batteries I got. when I went to recharge them nothing happened when I put them back in. Someone suggested test the batteries on my multi meter but i don't know how to do that.

I would post on forum, on how to test batteries on multi meter. I'm a rookie to this game myself, know I'm back to my ego twist until my goodies come in the mail
