Nikkita and DevilFish are right. I believe I toasted my auto batt the same way - over filling a carto for sure. It's been a long time since I used an auto batt as I have grown to love the manuals. I wouldn't let the fear of ruining one stop you from purchasing it if you are really taken with them. As long as you don't do what Nikkita and I did, you should be fine. ;)

I noticed that i like the taste of a filled cart over my ego tank carts So def gonna but 2 or 3 batts fron canvape on latest. Just like the feel as well, more like smoking. I guess you never can have enough juice or accessories.

For sure ... I am actually vaping on both Ego T (buttery caramel), and KR8 (flue cured tobacco) right now, and my Ego T is jealous cz I don't hold him as much, lol.

I totally agree that the KR8 is more like actually smoking, and I think that anyone trying to get off smokes may have more success with using something that functions more like an analog, at least in the beginning .. and I further agree that you can never have too many accessories or juices ... variety is the spice of Life afterall :)

I totally agree, Nikkita! To me, vaping my auto Volt feels exactly like smoking an analog; it just tastes different and smells way better (and no more ashes flying around of course). I never could get used to the size of an Ego and I don't think I'd feel comfortable vaping it in public. That's just me, though!

Me too ... I don't like the strange stares I get, and fear someone may call the police to report public crack smoking or something, lol!

are hey longer then the 510 one ??? (canvape)

Just measured it to my 510. With the clear carts on it slightly longer. With the normal k8 carts same length as the 510 with a tank. Hated the 510T always leaked, had manual batts and hated it. My EgoT is manual and I don't mind it but lately, since getting 2 more K8 batts been vaping the K8 more.

Well, that does it! I was thinking that I should order some backup batteries pretty soon and now I just HAVE to get myself one or two of them KR8's. Just too many good things said about them here and elsewhere as well. Will have myself set up with juice for a couple or three months, get a bit of a stock pile on the Kanger horizontals and the KR8's (think I'll even go auto here, lol) and cartos for that and I am pretty well set for a few months. Yeah!! :D :D

It's not 'weird' at all. You like what you like, and the reason someone makes all the different kinds is because people ask for them and keep buying them :)

There are a few larger auto-batteries and passthroughs out there.

You can also get a handfull of mini batteries to last you the day and an extra charger or two (or get a multi-charger that can do several batteries at once), or opt for a Portable charging case.

I think this way 'might' cost a little more than a good big battery setup in the long run if you vape pretty heavily, but it's still cheaper than smoking :)

This thread has helped me decide that I want that slim look and auto and it's ok. I want the cigarette experience. I quit analogs 3 weeks ago after 25 years (I started way too young) and I'm ok living nic free... Oh but the habit urges... I've been using Smoke NV disposables for the past 10 days because I'd reached breaking point. While I've nothing to compare them to, they're not horrible. They kept me sane and away from analogs.

Does anyone know what they'd be comparable to? In terms of battery life, vapor produced, TH, etc? To me they were quite an acceptable product, but got expensive since I can't recharge or refill. Battery wise, they lasted me 2-3 days, except the one today. Still, it means that this battery would be accetable duration especially on work days. I am considering the KR808 or The Bloog, but the 510 (280 mah) is very appealing because I can ultimately spend way too much in goodies and customizing it to be unique to me. Those dream tips I saw looked soooo good.

So is the 808 type that superior to the 510? Tank or no tank? And does it matter that my husband has settled on the Ego-T (until he finds what he really wants, but that'll be another thread some other time)

All of this research has been driving me nuts, made me want to drink and smoke lol.

For cigarette sized ecigs, 808's are probably your best bet. Bloog is a 808 actually, they are just fancier, newer version of it. I think either way you can't go wrong. If i were to make a specific reccomendation, id either go with kanger 808's from canvape, or V3 808's from vaporus. The V3's are a little bit more expensive, but Song is having a great sale on them. They are the same quality as the volts and bloogs, they have drip resistent battery holes. New vapers tend to overfill cartos, or fill them while they are still on the battery. This can cause them to drip into batteries and ruin them.

With all that said, i'm definitley biased towards 808's, especially the V3's since i use Volts. They are really nice batteries though. Doesn't really matter that your hubby went with the ego-t, its a nice PV, But.. if you want to be able to swap atty's and cartos, 808's have different threads, so that might be something to consider. I'm don't really know anything about smokenv's, so i cant compare the battery life on them. You might want to get a PCC, or extra batteries. Depending on how much you vape, 2 might not last all day.
