i really enjoy my mechs and rebuilding but I fancy the Kabuki tank.
If you test the stock coil the same way is the Kabuki tank safe to use on a mech or would you only trust coils that you have built yourselves?

Edit; didn't know where to post this as it contains different things. General seemed to fit.

I assume 510 kabuki or P3 kabuki using the 510 adapter.
clone or authentic?
The clones have various 510 center pins, some are fixed a few adjustable, some spongy, some flaky, some springy.

Would you use a nautilus or triton mini or just about any other replaceable head delivery device on a mech...

Definitely authentic.
Probably the nautilus as they seem to do the job and a few £s cheaper.
Saying that. It would be an almost identical experience to the nautilus so I don't know...
After all this building I like the idea of once in a while just putting a coil in.

Also, after all this tpd rubbish will you be able to get your hands on these coils easily anymore? Perhaps I've missed the boat on this one.

I'm not trying to dissuade you, but, you do understand you'll get an underwhelming 9.8w using a 1.8Ω head with a fully charged battery falling off to 6ish watts around the time to recharge or replace the battery.
I use 10w - 15w with a nautlius 1.8Ω head & a bit more when using the triton mini heads that also work in most kabuki's.
Just my experience, below 9w the give a wet spitty sputtery vape & rapidly gunk up.
Some folks have success with them at lower power, not me.

Thanks. Totally forgot!!!
I build @ 1.2 to a 3 max. Damn, that's that out of the window then.
I just want an mtl rta that I can get for around £100 but I can't find anything and then looked at the Kabuki and thought that'll be nice.

Many thanks

I don't trust prebuilt coils on my mechs as they are a lot flakier than my own builds IME. Especially Nautilus coils.

If I want a mainstream tank on a mech, I reach for a Subtank Mini with the Kanger RBA. When I rewick, I can inspect, dry burn and clean my coil. This gives me some piece of mind.

Good vape at 0.6-1.0ohms too.

When i used tanks, years ago, way too many DOA coils. A hassle & waste of money on a regulated. A mech? don't want to think about it..

Could be quality improved since then or could be just my luck, I've never had a single doa authentic nautlius or triton head, one atlantis head doa.

Most folks bash them because they just don't fit what they were looking for or never took the time to figure out how to get the most out of each step they took.

@Topwater Elvis

Hi. Ive just been watching a review of the Atmizoo Keras RTA. It has the ability to take its own rebuildable coil section as well as triton coils.

Do you know if Triton and triton mini coils are interchangeable? If so i could buy the Kabuki and the rebuildable section for the Keras.

I have looked but cant find out. Thanks

Triton mini & nautilus are interchangeable in many delivery devices but not all, for some odd unknown to me reason.
There are few nautilus rba's available, just me I wouldn't even bother unless you like pulling your hair out & cussing, a lot.
Full size Triton & nautilus, no, nope.

:( Ok, thanks. I'll find something.
Yes, your right. A long time ago I bought an rba made by a 3rd party for the nautilus. A nightmare with screws.
I think the best thing about that was that I got a sheet of cotton.
£5-ish was a lot of money for a piece of cotton though.

The OP never once mentioned any of those as any he is considering.

I would never use a pre-built coil head, let alone one on a mech.

If you can build, get an RDA or RTA.

If you actually read what the OP wrote, he is an experienced vaper quite familiar with RBA's, building and mechanical use.

He is simply looking for a plug & play delivery device to use on his mech when he doesn't have the time or feel like fiddling around with building.
Later in the thread he added, if this plug & play delivery device has an optional RBA deck it would be a bonus in his opinion.

Does a Kabuki not use an insulator, same risk factor..
