Has anyone seen this thing? It should be available in about a month. Anyone have any experience with Kamry? Apperantly the sister company to SMY. I don't have much faith that this would be a quality mod, but I'm in LOVE with the form factor, it may be enough to make me leave my mechs. Besides, how could one NOT be swayed by a slogan as catchy as "Kamry 100 in hands, love in nature"?

Thoughts?

Love the look, love the form factor, love that it has a dial for wattage adjustment, love the dual batteries. Price is not bad (under $80 for a preorder right now). What's holding me back is zero info on who makes the chip. Going to wait for some reviews on this. Hopefully they will be positive -- would make a great buddy for my Slug clone.

Pretty sure pass thru will only be an option at very low wattages... I can't see 100 watts going thru any USB cord I've ever seen.
Totally do-able. And then you get to smell the magic smoke from whatever you plugged the usb into!

I meant pass-thru as in the USB charges the 18650s, vs just being a data connection for firmware updates (lookin' at you Cloupor).

I ordered one from Vaportekusa and I'm impatiently waiting for it's arrival. I considered ordering the Zero mod but in the end, the specs won out on the Kamry 100. They're both nice looking devices but the reviews of the Zero have been fairly dismal, at least the ones that I've seen. Of course, there's virtually nothing on the Kamry yet so it was basically a leap of faith.
