Kangar Protank V3 on Lavatube

I just ordered a Lavatube kit that should be arriving in a few days. My Kangar Protank V3 just arrived today.

I'm assuming the Lavatube is V1, considering I got it off of Ebay and the whole kit was only $50. I believe the V1 has a 2.5 ohm cutoff. Also my understanding is the Protank V3 is 2.5 ohm dual coil.

So can the Lavatube use the 2.5 dual coil protank, or will it just drop down to the 3.7v setting?

Anyone know or have tried this?

are you sure it isn't a 2.5 AMP cutoff because I have not heard of a 2.5 ohm cutoff
